Jiji
With so many changes, I wouldn't be surprised for the squad to take most of the season to gel. Still, it's spuds and it's funny. I am loving Liverpool doing the anti-Liverpool this campaign. Beat up the minnows, those 8 or 10 games against the top sides aren't as important as the 28 or 30 against the league jabronis. Zheroen
Just goes to show, even a shit team can occasionally grind out a 1-0 win at home over a title contender.Oh, and congratulations to Sunderland as well.
Fat Spanish Waiter
Games like that are why I don't buy into Arsenal yet. That being said, crushing the jabronis as Ojayi said is the real way to win the league.
SirFozzie
Nocerina fans barred from a Serie C1 derby with Salernitana.. Nocerina fans attack their own bus and issue death threats in an attempt to get the game cancelled. Yes, they attacked their own players because they didn't want them to play, because they couldn't see the game. These threats turned the derby game into farce, as Nocerina players fake injuries, causing them to use all three of their substituions in the first two minutes, and then five more players "limp off" in the next 20 or so minutes.. causing the game to be abandoned because Nocerina didn't have the required amount of players. The entire Nocerina board has resigned over this farce http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WD7_PZlPn_g

SirFozzie
So, Messi is out at least 6-8 weeks with a hammy issue. Look for the spotlight to fall on Neymar.

Lazlo Woodbine
Anyone watch the Scotland/USA game? Was it as dull as the scoreline suggests?
sabremike
Yes it was. We basically went through the motions and it wasn't fun to watch. In fairness Scotland have gotten better, but still...
Lazlo Woodbine
We couldn't have gotten much worse to be fair. I watched some highlights and they made it look ok. Good to see Gary Mackay-Steven get his first cap as a late sub, and that was some saving tackle from Hanley. Norway will probably fuck us up. SirFozzie
France is 90 minutes from elimination (2-0 loss in Kiev to Ukraine), Iceland are surviving (0-0 draw despite playing 40 or so minutes with 10 men due to a straight red for a professional foul)
The Natural
Bradford City vs. Coventry City is tomorrow on Sky Sports. Good luck, Sky Blue Sam!
Sky Blue Sam
Thanks Natural. I'd have taken a draw before today, but an equaliser in the last minute always feels like defeat. I'd love to know what Phil Parkinson said to Steven Pressley, as SP seems furious according to his post match interview. Nothing like some postmatch drama.
ReiseReise
That "Germany-cannot-beat-Italy"-thing is taking some ridiculous dimensions. My oh my, blocking own players in front of an open net, three times hitting woodwork...adjust, mates, you might get those Azzuri right away in the group stages next year, dammit. ReiseReise
Only partly watched Germany vs England. Germany looked mostly in control, but wasted so many good chances. England fought like madmen, but didn´t look good creating chances at all. One good longshot from Townsend. Good for us that our set pieces finally seem to be somewhat threatening. Cristobal
Utterly random, but, during a reddit AMA that the surviving Python cast-members did today, one person asked "Any tips for us Germans out here on how we could improve our reputation in the humor department?" John Cleese answered "Get a really bad goalkeeper"
