Swift Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 It's shocking to me how many people I've heard of who are planning on watching this tonight who couldn't name one boxer or MMA fighter previously. They sure have sold this thing well.

Elsalvajeloco Posted August 27, 2017 Author Posted August 27, 2017 Apparently, UFC Fight Pass/UFC.tv and the cable companies can't handle the volume of orders and a lot of people aren't able to see the PPV right now.
Niners Fan in CT Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Jack the ripper tore through Cleverly.
Elsalvajeloco Posted August 27, 2017 Author Posted August 27, 2017 I wonder if Badou Jack will fight Marcus Browne. If Beterbiev can get his shit together, that would another logical step considering he holds one of the lower tier WBA belts.

Just like Mayweather-PacMan the main event is being delayed so the cable companies can process all the late orders.
Niners Fan in CT Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Tank is looking.... odd. I don't know what he's doing. Not a tremendous performance so far.
sabremike Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 The irony tonight is that the main event of the "real" boxing show on HBO might be a bigger mismatch than Floyd-Conor. Coto is basically kicking the ever living crap out of some Japanese dude who looks totally out of his depth. 1
Niners Fan in CT Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 What was that? Why is Fonseca looking for a DQ win? He may have been leading on the cards
Elsalvajeloco Posted August 27, 2017 Author Posted August 27, 2017 I have no idea. He wasn't going to get a DQ on that. Anyway, the main event is going to be delayed due to the outages. Could be long as half an hour.
piranesi Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Just to be clear, the people of earth are about to pay a 40 year old boxer hundreds of millions of dollars to have an exhibition boxing match against someone who's not a boxer, right? 1
Dolfan in NYC Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 That depends on what your definition of 'boxing match' is. 1
Elsalvajeloco Posted August 27, 2017 Author Posted August 27, 2017 Well Conor got at least one round.
Elsalvajeloco Posted August 27, 2017 Author Posted August 27, 2017 Floyd dropping the first two rounds. He should get going.
Jiji Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Hammer fists and getting gassed in 3 rounds. Other than that, GOING GOOD SO FAR.
Death From Above Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 I mean, even if it ends now, Conor's probably done at least as much as the ghost of Manny did. So I give him credit.
hammerva Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 He is clearly winning the fight but he is dangerously close to getting disqualified whether he means it or not Mayweather doesn't have a clue how to handle someone with such an odd boxing style. Plus he is almost a statue which is a terrible idea
