goodhelmet
Trailing by 13 with 43 seconds to go. I wasn't going to call it but Walton put in the bench. I don't know why. I saw Tracy McGrady score 13 points in 34 seconds before. GSW could do that.
goodhelmet
Historic run by the Warriors. Now the Spurs are only 4 games behind!!!! That double overtime caught up to them tonight. What;s nuts is they are only a couple of plays away from losing two in a row.
Brian Fowler
Milwaukee does it. Timing is big, getting them at the end of a seven game road trip and coming off a double ot game. Pistons decided to kick some Indiana ass despite not getting much from Andre. Balanced attack gets it done.
Niners Fan in CT
We softened them up dammit! But yup the Bucks played well too. Monroe, MCW, Parker and Greek Freak all contributed. This was more like how I thought the Bucks would be this year.

Greggulator
Great way to end the streak. It has to be so tiring to play every game like it's a Game 7. I seriously wouldn't be shocked though to see Golden State pull off another 12 in a row right now though.
Josh Mann
Winning on night 2 on the road after going double overtime the night before was probably too much to ask

Brian Fowler
I think so. Golden State might have injuries, they might wrap up best record and rest guys, etc. Philly is going to be awful, period.
Cole Miner
Noel fell off a cliff after getting hurt in that Orlando game. I don't think he is all that mentally tough a player. Frankly he seems to have some of the same bad traits as Hibbert between the ears. His stone hands have to be mental. They were gone by the end of last season. Start of this season I was worried we might trade him. Now I'm worried he is destroying his trade value before he can be dumped.

He is just not athletic enough to cover a skilled four and his offensive range is five feet. Once he steps outside the paint the defense just lets him wander. Have him play the five with an athletic four and guards who can shoot. His value will be at a peak for defense and putbacks. On the Sixers he is just wasting time. Agree and it was one of the reasons I wanted us to take Porzingis on draft day. Him and Porzingis would have been awesome together. Noel was at like 14/10/2/2/2 before the injury against Orlando. I just think he is going to end up being the odd man out. Saric is now hitting his 3s at a high enough rate to be an ideal starting 4. He is 41% on them overall this year and .50% on them in the Euroleague games. Plus he is a play maker which is desperately needed. Noel just seems like the perfect guy to go. Like you said he needs to play center. Where there is better competition with Okafor and Embiid. He will be in the final year of his rookie deal next year so a decision will have to be made on his contract soonest. Plus Okafor hurt his trade value with the off court shenanigans. Embiid's upside is far too high to move him. Plus the Sixers have so many picks already it just makes no sense taking back 200,000 dollars for something you've already invested a million in. Which still has potential to reach that million mark value wise. Even if the odds are smaller now. Sixers don't need to rush or anything. Let him get healthy and get in the 14/10/2/2/2 range again. Can afford to wait until the off-season. I do think the Boston offer from last year, Smart and the 16th and 28th picks looks better now than it did at the time. evilwaldo
Don't even get me started on the irony of showing pictures of Embiid practicing free throws when they already have two guys that play the center position.
Dolfan in NYC
NBA ref Bill Kennedy has come out of the closet. He's also the reason why Rajon Rondo was given a small vacation on Friday. Apparently after he got ejected in the Mexico City game, he repeatedly called Kennedy a 'faggot.' Greggulator
I'm really over The Process. 1-24 is awful. It's inexcusable to be this bad in Year 3 of a rebuilding process. When the whole arena is booing the answer to the question: "Who wants free Sixers tickets?" and the NBA is stepping in...

Brian Fowler
They are mediocre, what can I say? It's a massive improvement from the last several years in the first half of the season. sabremike
NBA ref Bill Kennedy has come out of the closet. He's also the reason why Rajon Rondo was given a small vacation on Friday. Apparently after he got ejected in the Mexico City game, he repeatedly called Kennedy a 'faggot.' Wish Kennedy had responded by blowing a kiss at Rondo to make him totally lose his shit. I'm not gay but have been called that by meatheads as an insult and that's my go-to response. It makes their heads explode.
Greggulator
I met a dude who worked for NBA on TNT. He said Rondo was one of the biggest j-o's in the NBA. He was an aloof, moody crybaby who nobody wanted to deal with.He said 95% of the NBA was filled with really awesome dudes. But the people who were awful could be brutal, and Rondo was near the top of the list.
Zimbra
I remember as far back as Kentucky people saying that Rondo was difficult. IIRC Randolph Morris had some pretty unflattering things to say about him. Also, why the fuck do I remember Randolph Morris' name ten years later? They are mediocre, what can I say? It's a massive improvement from the last several years in the first half of the season. That's twice they've had the Clips under control and lost this year At least we got to see Drummond break CP3's ankles. That was a fun moment.
Brian Fowler
Watching Andre Drummond is fucking awesome period. There's no one else quite like him in the NBA right now. DeAndre Jordan is probably the closest, but Andre is already better on the pick & roll and offensive glass, and Andre is only 22.
