A thread for PS+/PSN Deals

I've hit two.  One was I knocked out the terminals before the game mentioned them and it locked a radio tower on me forever, had to restart to complete it.

The other was the final pack/trophy.  I knocked out the jammer in the final room before I grabbed the last pack, and while I could go into the room and get the Trophy for, well, the trophy ,it didn't count the last pack, and stuck me at 99% on the file.  It'd take a full replay for me to get 100%, and if WB Games couldn't have been bothered to ever patch it (they weren't, and they even said so), then I couldn't be bothered to replay the game (even if its still sitting on my shelf).

I finally picked up Rainbow Moon after looking at it for a year.

Used the 10% code and got it for under $5.

Only played a few minutes and leveled my guy up to Lvl 3.

Looks like this game is going to be a grinder, which is fine.

Reminds me of the old SSI D&D games I used to spend way too many hours playing, except with much better graphics.

Too bad life isn't making me want to work on any of my backlog.

I'm pretty sure the discount will end in a couple of hours when PSN updates for April. That was last week's discounted game.

It's basically Super Metroid, if you're into that sorta thing. Pretty impressive that one guy developed this game.

Tower of Guns has been out a while on PC, but of course I'm only just experiencing it now because the PS3 and PS4 versions are free.  It's a roguelite FPS with a mostly-dieselpunk aesthetic and flat-shading. It's all right. Glad I didn't pay fifteen bucks for it, but if you've been looking for a 'Doom-style' fps with no cover it's a good way to kill ten minutes at a time.

I was all set to buy Bastion on my Vita after getting it for a song in a Humble Bundle a couple years back, but it's only out for PS4 so far. I want it and will pay full price after basically stealing it on my PC, but that's a game that I want to play via handheld over any other platform.

Anyone who hasn't played Bastion yet, though, it's GREAT and on slight discount in the Spring sale.

Spent a lot more time on Axiom Verge yesterday.  DEFINITELY check it out.  The exploration doesn't feel tedious at all, and you feel a nice since of reward when you find a weapon upgrade or new item.  The two bosses I faced are challenging, but not impossible.  Very old school game in the idea that trial and error is a must, as well as learning boss patterns.

I am so fucking lost in Axiom Verge that I'm terrified I broke sequence and trapped myself (surely that isn't possible in a modern game?)

ETA I am a moron and somehow never imagined that big empty room you can't cross might be full of hidden blocks waiting to be hacked into existence.

Yeah, the hacking tool gimmick was a godsend, because I was stuck as a mofo until I found it.
