Skeeball Wizard Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Big Bossman was so great in those AJPW matches. God damn. Makes me wonder, does he end up a more legendary figure if he had spent more of his career in Japan? I gotta say yes. He looks so natural there.
Raziel Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 After watching a ton of old 88 to 99 stuff on the Network, I gotta say, Bossman was severely underrated as a performer. He had some fucking quality stuff all over the place. Shit, his match with Barbarian at Rumble 91 stole the show *with* a Rockers/Orient Express match on the same card. 3
rzombie1988 Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 How does Jack Evans still have knees? It's not the jumping off the top rope part that hurts your knees. It's the landing on your feet part.
Spritenaut 32 Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 That 'handspring elbow-->Oklahoma Stampede-->double cover for the pin' sequence is amazing. He's a regular for AAA, isn't he? Yeah, he still works for AAA. I think he's basically exclusive to them at this point.
Rev Ray Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Didn't Bossman get hurt on that tour? Because in his prime Bossman doing regular tours of AJPW might have been spectacular. And that double team stampede is something I haven't seen before.
Illinois Smith Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 finally caught up with this week's LU oh hey there aero star I thought you'd never show updrago vs cuerno: still my favorite feud on the show main event had some next-level spot-fu but...NEVER MIND THAT SHIT THOUGH HERE COMES CAGE 4
Rev Ray Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Now had Paul been eating a meatball hero like Don Muraco, it would have been cool. 2
PetrolCB Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Lets talk about this. http://youtu.be/aGJ1y_Qsa3g 2
Matt D Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 - So i didn't have time to make this better but Mocho Cota is fucking awesome. EDIT: Then he did this! 2
cool arrow Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 No, all that actually happened. Just ask Hulk. He'll tell you.
Spritenaut 32 Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 I'd forgotten they erected a giant Hogan head on Mt. Rushmore. It's been at least 10 years since Beefcake piloted the giant head into space to fight off the Venusian invasion. We're not Venusian slaves, so I guess he was successful. 3
