Dolfan in NYC Posted June 8, 2020 Posted June 8, 2020 I'm sure this is going to shock a LOT of you... but the CEO of CrossFit is an idiot: Reebok has ended its partnership with CrossFit as a result of this.
Dolfan in NYC Posted June 25, 2020 Posted June 25, 2020 The Kentucky Derby has announced they will allow fans during the race.
Dewar Posted June 30, 2020 Posted June 30, 2020 The Aussie Rules season has been a mess. Teams getting forced into hub cities for six weeks, border closures and mostly empty stadiums. Schedules are getting changed by the week due to the border issues, and one game got postponed because a player tested positive for COVID-19.
DEAN Posted June 30, 2020 Posted June 30, 2020 But St Kilda DOESN'T look horrible this year! WOO-HOO!

Death From Above Posted July 9, 2020 Posted July 9, 2020 This doesn't really fit anywhere else so I'll stick it here. The ruling body of university sports in Canada has decided that if you were in your last year of athletic eligibility this year, too bad, Covid says it's all over, no exceptions.

The 10 teams based in Victoria will have to play the rest of the regular season (11 games) outside of Victoria due to bad COVID numbers, and the two Sydney based teams may be joining them on the road in a hurry.
Dolfan in NYC Posted August 13, 2020 Posted August 13, 2020 The Kentucky Derby will be run with up to 23,000 fans in attendance. (Churchill Downs can hold 170,000+) This is still up to 23,000 people too much. 1

hammerva Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 Anyone who has followed or played poker in the last 10 - 15 years knows the name and voice of the World Poker Tour Mike Sexton. He passed away today. Been sick for a couple years I believe. 1
Death From Above Posted September 7, 2020 Posted September 7, 2020 Mike was also a founding father of Party Poker and, thus, one of the driving forces behind the online poker boom in the first place. He fought hard in his own way to boost the credibility of the game, and always represented poker with class.
Hustler of Culture Posted November 11, 2020 Posted November 11, 2020 Hurling. Beautiful sport that combines baseball, rugby and a prison riot all into one. HoC
