Chaos
The power of Disney I guess. Maleficent is close to making its budget back just domestically. The $273 Million it has earned overseas is just gravy at this point.
S.K.o.S.
The two people who are going to benefit from HTTYD2's disappointing weekend are Niners Fan, who left it off his box office list, and MushroomJones, who had it ninth on his box office list. Everyone else put it in their top five, with most people having it either second or third.
RIPPA
If Dragon finished behind Spider-Man and Godzilla - I am gonna punch something
_MJ_
Looking at the numbers, that is very possible. It has to make almost 50 million per week from here on out to pass those films on the box office list. I think week 2 of How To Train A Dragon 2 is the big one. Will the kids/parents come back for multiple viewings? I like to be the first to decline being the "something" that will take the punch. Niners Fan in CT
Yeah, I had no idea how it would perform so I left it off. Too bad I didn't know how anything else would perform either.
_MJ_
On the flip side, the critics seem to love HTTYD 2, while 22 Jump Street RT score has settle down to 84 percent. Edge of Tomorrow holding at a 90 percent RT score should be a bigger story.
RIPPA
So for the next 3 weeks - we only have one new movie (for our purposes) coming out - Transformers 4 Nothing this week and nothing July 4 week. Of course - if you had all listened to me and had voted for Think Like A Man 2 we could be talking about inexplicable box office draw Kevin Hart
J.T.
Every black person at work is talking about going to see Think Like A Man 2 and if I want to keep my current relationship intact, I'll be taking my girlfriend to a matinee on Saturday. I kinda owe her since she sat through Godzilla with me.

S.K.o.S.
Nearly everyone has quite a few more points than they did last week, because of HTTYD2 coming in low on the box office list. Also, right now, it looks more likely than not that Maleficent will pass both Godzilla and ASM2 on the box office list.

pipGofern
What possessed me to put Ways to Die in the West so high on my list? smh I mean, I know TED made a mint but that had Marky Mark. Who was going to see a movie starring that Family Guy dope even if had Olivia Wilde and Liam Neeson? That's totally going to ruin my otherwise decent list. Sublime
The #1's on both of my lists are huge disappointments. I knew Maleficient was a risk at the top of RT but I truly did not see HTTYD2 doing so mildly at all at the box office, maybe I was clouded because of how much my step-daughter loved the first one and was excited for part 2, my nephew was too, that I figured it would be true across the board. Pretty much no point now but to hope that I can hold onto last place.

RIPPA
22 Jump Street stayed ahead of Dragon 2 but the gap was less than 4 million. God - it only has to be 1 dollar but I need Dragon to continue to rally but get ahead of 22 in the next two weeks (they are approximately 16 million apart right now) Maleficent finished about 2 million behind Spiderman and Godzilla. Since I am too lazy too look at my list right now - I don't know how to feel about that.

Ah in that case - assuming it stays on it's daily average it will finish just ahead of both. Again - I have no memory if I even put it on my list but I am amused that we are having so many films end at like between 188 - 190 million
RIPPA
Transformers has finally started getting some reviews - 50% after 10 reviews So clearly that will go down. I just need to hope that I placed in right in that part of my ballot where I picked nothing but movies I expected to get in the 20s and 30s
