Collinsworth saying the Packers tonight is a downside of playing young players like their QB isn't a dude who got drafted when I was going to College 15 years ago

Lions just like "fuck the Packers." Awesome that they didn't even give Rodgers another chance.

Football's become a lot more basketballesque in the last decade or so.  Play for possession/taking the last shot.

Good on the Lions for figuring out that keeping the ball was worth more than the 3 points.

If one of these mfs was named Purdy Brock or Geno Purdy or even Purdy Smith there would at least be something to root for. But they picked the most boring order possible of the four parts so fuck them.

meanwhile the Chiefs playoff picture is

either Jags/Chargers (or Dolphins or Ravens in the event of an upset)

and then Bills/Bengals (or maybe someone else)

which is a bit of a jump from one round to the next

The "story right now isn't the Lions winning" - man, seriously, screw you, Tirico.

this could fit in a postseason thread but one doesn't exist at this moment..

the schedule for next weekend

Quote

Saturday:

49ers-Seahawks: 4:30 ET, FOX

Chargers-Jaguars: 8:15 ET, NBC

Sunday:

Dolphins-Bills: 1:00 ET, CBS

Giants-Vikings: 4:30 ET, FOX

Ravens-Bengals: 8:15 ET, NBC

Monday:

Cowboys-Bucs: 8:15 ET, ABC/ESPN

Bills and Bengals on the same day. Jags on Saturday. Cowboys/Brady on Monday Night.

I'm opening it.  The board crapped out on me when I submitted though.

So wait.
the Lovie Smith coached Texans blew their #1 thus giving it to us

AND

the Lions pushed Aaron Rodgers out of the playoffs?

This is the best losing season I've ever experienced.

Bears beating the Niners Week 1 also ended up being the difference-maker for HFA/#1 Seed/1st Rd. Bye
