Matt D Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 Still working through that tag: It's not all flips: The ref gets more and more disheveled as this goes on, leading to this: Poor bastard: 3

The two got it right at House Party 1998 in Stairway to Hell. That's infamous as well for Sabu taping his broken jaw up to continue the match. 1
AxB Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 This was in Abadon's AEW debut, months ago when they had crowds: Settle down et cetera. 4
NikoBaltimore Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 I remember that from the match. But after seeing her without the face paint I sure do appreciate it a lot more now. Yeah, I know, but I'm a couple beers in so fuck it. 2 1

Wasn't Sandman tripping his face off during the November 2 Remember match? 1

Guest Edwin Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 Someone in the US needs to pick up the flying armbar as a finisher.

Matt D Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 Still working on week before last. Our big singles match was Spartacus vs Eric Husberg. Do yourself a favor and google Jacques Pêcheur and Glock together. That's how our friend here moved onto a later career. Here though he was fairly impressive. I don't quite know where this was headed but the first part was the usual combination of smooth and competitive: This is one way to get out of a cravate: We haven't seen one of these flip powerbombs for a while, but I love how he sort of twists him with it and releases it to the side (remember, this is 1960): 2
Zimbra Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 Cheese and rice that had to monumentally suck. At least it looks like he took most of the impact with his arm and shoulder instead of his forehead
Jiji Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 (edited) Edit: my bad, didn't see the post above the Necro/Briscoes gifs! Edited December 6, 2020 by Jiji
Ramo2653 Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 Part of me wants to think it was a planned "avoid the dive" spot and not an awful catch just because it was so bad. But it probably wasn't.

Sammo~! Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 I'm just glad those 9 people got their money's worth
Jiji Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 It really highlights we'd be just fine with a quarter of the dives we see right now.
