So those of us who put All Eyez on Me high on their RT list should probably start getting nervous right? No reviews out and it's opening in less than 24 hours, that's usually a bad sign. ugh I needed that to be good.

There are reviews out - RT just hasn't compiled them yet.

But... yeah... you should be worried

‘All Eyez on Me’ review: Botched biopic an injustice to Tupac"

"All Eyez On Me review: Tupac Shakur biopic is an abysmal, sloppy, spirit-sapping marathon"

*Anxiously checks if it's on my RT list and where*. Phew, it's not.

Wasn't sure where to place Cars 3 going on the Cars films prior as Pixar's weakest but thought third time may be the charm.

All Eyez On Me

20%

17% with only six reviews but...

I know the guy looks like Tupac but they couldn't find someone who actually has done a film before?

I wonder if the Michael Jackson Lifetime film with the guy from the Wire that aired a few weeks back would have gotten a better RT score. I mean Michael had a British accent in the film and apparently he was broke for the latter portion of his life.

Also, you had the dramatic dialogue and sequence of "Hello, Michael....My name is Conrad Murray" *CUE DRAMATIC MUSIC* *AD BREAK*

I wasn't sure why people were so quick to put All Eyez On Me high on their RT list.  Was it because Straight Outta Compton got good reviews?  I don't think any of the same people are involved with those two movies.

<Sheepishly raises hand, before quickly putting it back down>

Yeah, I fell for quite the logical fallacy on my part when I should have known better. If I would have known that Eyez had such production problems, I would have not even put it on the list at all. At least I know already not to expect a prize this year.

I doubt PIxar will stop Cars movies, the mostly negative reviews haven't. More original Pixar films or sequels to the top tier films. However with the latter, you have the difficulty following on from the acclaimed previous entries. Toy Story is the best example with Monsters, Inc and Finding Nemo.

Universal has announced The Mummy has made $222 Million internationally.  It is important to Universal to convince itself that this movie does not suck.

Wonder Woman's international Box Office is double that of The Mummy's.

Re: All Eyez on Me

Apparently, black twitter is starting turn against this film due to Jada Pinkett Smith's tweets about the made up shit in the film. This is not good PR.

Fuck.  And all of this shit going down on Pac's birthday, no less.

All Eyez On Me is now at 24% on RT.

Putting your faith in a high level Lifetime biopic that even 2pac's mom Afeni allegedly objected to is confidence.

John Singleton doesn't have the greatest track record recently, but the spat between Benny Boom and Singleton is telling. One guy actually did a film with Tupac and probably knows him better, and you're trying to discredit him with very little to show for in the film industry. The best thing to do is to just say you hope to prove that the film is an accurate depiction of his life and let fans decide for themselves. Keep it moving and don't bring a negative light on the film before it comes out.

Not consulting someone who would give you a great account of how the man was and help you sort through the bullshit is another strike.

Also, this looks to have been one of those Emmett/Furla/Oasis produced films before Morgan Creek got over to it. So I wouldn't be shocked if 50 Cent, Bruce Willis, or James Remar were in the original cast. Hell, had it stayed that way you would at least stay around 25-30% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Hopefully, there is nothing as ridiculous in All Eyez on Me as the Michel'le Lifetime movie where Suge was AT HOME on the couch watching the news break about 2Pac being shot on the Strip after Tyson/Seldon. Jada's tweets make it sound like that may be possible.

All Eyez On Me will have shit reviews, but somewhat respectable box office.  That should stem some of the bleeding for folks that put it on both of their lists.
