nate Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Cesaro / Reigns was great but the wrong guy went over. Never thought I'd be underwhelmed by a BoD reunion. David Flair tapped out of the business a long time ago and probably didn't want to be a worker in the first place and Paige uses David Flair as her example of a "quitter" to get under Charlotte's skin? Really? I know, rt? All those time David died in the ring, with the fans going from booing to just flat indifference ... hard to watch.
The Natural Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 From Bret Hart's Facebook page with the caption: "Cesaro Section". Damn right! 1
nate Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 At the end of Cesaro/Reigns, I was hoping for a moment where Cesaro would rise to his feet in the ring with the crowd going just balls-crazy for his performance. Guess the force-feeding of Reigns was more important; Reigns, granted, could have "mutual respect'd" Cesaro more than he did & it might have helped elevate him in mgmt's eyes.
MonteCarl Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 That Kalisto/del Rio match was ugly. Was it del Rio botching everything? What an off night for those guys.
nate Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Tyson Kidd dissing the westside. You gonna end up like Big!
The Natural Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 I still hope trying to be an optimist Cesaro will get the push he deserves for his talent and the crowd's reaction to him. Cesaro's great.
Godfrey Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Cesaro just needs his version of the Yes! chant. I know, it's not that simple, but he had all the tools and the support, he just needs a hook.
Hail Sabin Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Maybe Cesaro will get a Final Four in this year's Rumble.
Raziel Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Cesaro just needs his version of the Yes! chant. I know, it's not that simple, but he had all the tools and the support, he just needs a hook. Can we bring back his old "HEY!" bit from the indies? 1
RIPPA Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Could the Lana/Paige thing be kay fab? They should have planned it better then since Summer Rae then jumped in to defend Paige and about how Bullying isn't a word you should throw around lightly Of course - if Total Divas is just willing to have everyone repeat their tweets on future episodes than all bets are off
Burgundy LaRue Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Guess the force-feeding of Reigns was more important; Reigns, granted, could have "mutual respect'd" Cesaro more than he did & it might have helped elevate him in mgmt's eyes. He shook Cesaro's hand and gave him a shoulder hug. Did Reigns need to full-on mouth kiss him, too? And that doesn't even go into Reigns/Cesaro being former travel partners/pretty good friends (at least enough to pose in the picture for the Luke Harper Fan Club members). I dare say Reigns has a lot of respect for Cesaro. 1
Raziel Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Dammit Burg, stop ruining the narrative that Reigns is all that is evil in the WWE and will tank. How else are we supposed to get an extended Sheamus run because Vince is punishing us for not embracing Reigns?
The Natural Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 On a first watch I preferred Owens vs. Neville to Reigns vs. Cesaro.
Charlie M. Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Tyson Kidd dissing the westside. You gonna end up like Big! Westcoaster Samoa Joe did almost kill him....
JCM Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Cesaro just needs his version of the Yes! chant. I know, it's not that simple, but he had all the tools and the support, he just needs a hook. Can we bring back his old "HEY!" bit from the indies? And Sledgehammer as his theme song? 1
steve Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Doesn't he do the "Hey!" like pretty much every match now? Edit: I never really saw him on the indies, so it might not be exactly the same. But he does throw his arm up and yell "Hey!" a lot...
RIPPA Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 God now I am giggly - since New Day (specifically Big E) has started a #IStandWithOwens hashtag and blocked Melissa Joan Hart 6
Death From Above Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Oh something I forgot to yell about last night because that last segment was such a bad idea that it interrupted my brain function. Why the fuck is Tyler Breeze taking bumps for R-Truth and scoring a flash win? Breeze is your future star, R-Truth is a jobber. Whoever laid that match out is bad at their job and should feel bad. And if it's just Breeze being too giving someone needs to sit him down and say listen kid, we actually like you, put yourself over a bit.
NikoBaltimore Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 I can see using a dead relative with the okay from the family if it actually goes somewhere. Charlotte tried, but like Ric can't really mention Reid without crying (can you blame them?) It also seemed like it took Paige out of the moment as she was trying to keep it together herself. And even when she got back to her promo it was so disjointed that I couldn't figure out why she felt a need to bring it up in the first place. Just so, so awkward on all counts. Good brawl, but a "WTF" moment at the same time. On a lighter note, Bootyade was hilarious. Then Kofi slipped in there a mention to Bootyjuice. I went from laughing to bugging out and going "Please, for the love of everything, don't look that up!" Can't believe that made TV. And holy crap is Kofi awesome at this heel thing, he's gotten so good at it.

I agree with the basic sentiment, but he hit him with his finish and pinned him in the middle, how's that a flash win?

He actually looked weaker coming out than he went in.
odessasteps Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Wonder if flair will discuss the angle on his podcast.
Playa Shunna Ver 3.0 Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 That last segment was so bad that the best part of the segment was Michael Cole
J.T. Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 God now I am giggly - since New Day (specifically Big E) has started a #IStandWithOwens hashtag and blocked Melissa Joan Hart I await the WWE HW Title finals where it will be KO (with Soliel Moon-Frye) vs. Ambrose (with Melissa Joan-Hart). 1
nate Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 #divasrevolution Maybe in the build-up for Mania, we get Hart telling Moon-Frye that Brandon *deserved* to be hit by a car.
