Brian Fowler Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Go Iggles. Go Steelers. Hey, Eli, got another 5 picks in you?
Tabe Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 That is beautiful. You could see the hope in their faces and then the crushing realization of how futile it is to cheer the Lions. No real Lions fan thought that kick had any chance of ever being anything but good. As they lined up, I was certain of one of two outcomes: a successful kick or a roughing the kicker flag. I was 100% sure the Lions would not win.
Niners Fan in CT Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 I looked back to see who Foles has beaten this year. Giants Bucs Raiders Packers (Tolzien started) Redskins Cards Lions Crushed by the Vikings B-team, though Nick played very well. He hasn't exactly been a world beater.
Tabe Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Passer rating of 117 with a 23:2 TD:INT ratio. Those would be awesome numbers playing against a jr high. 1
Kuetsar Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 I NEVER guaranteed 8-8, I merely pointed out the schedule looked favorable; I was optimistic, yes, just like I have hopes they can be spoilers the next couple of weeks. And I will likely be bitterly disappointed again as well. Just for the record, FSW and other lions fans, flame wars and all I take no joy from your pain, in fact all things being equal I probably like the Lions more than any other team in that division. . .
Fat Spanish Waiter Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 You are a better man than I am. I'm rooting against the Bears, Packers, Giants, Dolphins, Colts/Broncos (since their fans seem to share each team...), Panthers. Saints and Bills. If there's anyone else that has any fans in here, I'm rooting against them too.
Stennick Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 If there's anyone else that has any fans in here, I'm rooting against them too. Surely you wouldn't root against the sadly incompetent Rams would you? We have had enough sorrow no need to ad you rooting against us to the list good sir.
Fat Spanish Waiter Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Your boys broke Chicago's back, fucked their ass, made them humble. You're sound.
BrianS81177 Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Fucking Stafford got me eliminated from the playoffs with his shitty performance last week. I hope he gets picked off 9 times. Also this:
RIPPA Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 It appears the Saints are signing Shayne Graham to replace the recently cut Garrett Hartley
Brian Fowler Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 However, my sympathy for Rams fans and their win a super bowl just 15 years ago selves is low.
Dolfan in NYC Posted December 18, 2013 Author Posted December 18, 2013 Thad Lewis will start this weekend for the Bills against Miami. EJ Manuel is out.
RIPPA Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 London Fletcher announced that he is 99% sure that this will be his last season
Kuetsar Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Thad Lewis will start this weekend for the Bills against Miami. EJ Manuel is out. You know, he's had his moments, but this injury shit has me wanting the Bills to see what else is out there. . . Who the fuck know anymore with this team.
Tabe Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 49er fans have bought a billboard near CenturyLink in Seattle:
Death From Above Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 That won't end in tears or anything. EDIT: Please tell me one of the people that financed that was the one that thought cheering too loud at Seattle's field was bad sportsmanship. Even if it's not true, just tell me so I can pretend. 2
Niners Fan in CT Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 So Seattle fans are mad because their franchise is irrelevant. Well, here's your chance boys... go win something.
Fat Spanish Waiter Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Without one of their pro bowl cornerbacks, now.
elizium Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 BUT THE TWELVFTH MAN! That makes up for any drugged up corners!
keith_h Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Without one of their pro bowl cornerbacks, now. They've done just fine without him these last few weeks...
Tabe Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Without one of their pro bowl cornerbacks, now. He's been hurt and missed a ton of games anyway. Won't be missed.
BrianS81177 Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 49er fans have bought a billboard near CenturyLink in Seattle: And how many have YOU had in the past 20 years? *edit* dammit, can't get my reply out of the quote box.
Newb82 Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 C'mon Dolfan, how about that bet? Loser goes until the day after the Super Bowl, and you already know what name I'd want you to use. Are you afraid of THE WRATH OF THAD?
