More as they announce!

As it stands, only want to see Timeless Toni Storm vs. Megan Bayne but not enough to order the show. I'd love Tony Khan to pivot and end the Death Riders shit with Swerve Strickland beating Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship but that ain't happening.

If the Toni/Bayne battle doesn't climax in both of them falling down an ornate mansion-style staircase, we riot.

Just not enough time to build this one up. That's not to say it won't have great matches, AEW delivers in-ring on PPVs 95% of the time, but while Revolution felt like the matches generally had good slow builds this one is going to feel a bit more rushed. I have no doubt Mox is winning but there are only two Dynamites to build his Swerve match and two weeks away we only have three matches. I can see in the long run this being one of the more forgettable PPVs looking back at it later, but I hope it still has bangers because I already paid for it.

Dynasty is the least important AEW PPV. I'd scrap it.

I just think it's funny how much we bitched about everything except the Hollywood Ending not having what we wanted in a build or anything and then everyone just goes out and kills it.

I had a reply all typed up basically suggesting that they can’t end a PPV with their most popular babyface losing to Death Riders bullshit….can they?

But alas, they can. And they will.

It's a tricky needle to thread. Obviously no one really wants this, but I also think it would be pretty bad to have Swerve win here then job the belt at All In two years straight.

Ospreay in the Owen is probably a mistake because it's too obvious. They should just put the belt on him at DON, then have a final 4 of Swerve, MJF, Kenny, and Hangman. I know TK is dead set on Kenny/Okada at All In, but I think that's a big mistake. I don't think that combo has any mainstream appeal and way less appeal among the hardcores than TK thinks. We're nearly 10 years removed from their generational match at the Dome at this point and both are on the downhill side of their career, I don't see it as something to build your whole year around. That could be a DON match easily.

I think an ideal All In Card would have Ospreay/Hangman for the world, Hurt Syndicate backed babyface MJF taking the unified Cont/Int belt off Kenny, Darby/Mox in a violent blowoff with no gold on the line, Swerve winning a re-match with Danielson if possible, and Fletcher getting a big win over someone like Takeshita or Adam Cole since Fletcher should be the next in line when they're ready for another heel champ.

Assuming TK sticks with what, for all purposes, appears to be the long term plan, I think for All In we're going to get...

 - Mox vs Darby - some sort of death match

 - Toni vs Mercedes

 - Kenny vs Okada - title unification match

 - Dustin Rhodes or Jeff Jarret in some kind of "retirement" match. Maybe involving MJF

 - Bucks vs E&C

Some good ideas here, but oh god, everything has been *so nice* without the Bucks around and I forgot all about them...

I haven't forgot about the Young Bucks but I haven't missed them. Same for Jack Perry.

with Ospreay essentially calling his shot for All In, i don't think that Darby gets the ttile match here.

Since this is about as B-Level as AEW gets for PPVs, I hope the Toni/Bayne match has a non-ending. It feels too soon for Toni to lose but also feels too soon for Bayne to eat a clean loss. I'm not a fan of non-endings on PPVs but if done right (and towards the beginning/middle of the card) its not a huge deal if they wrestle for 10/15 minutes and then shit breaks down and whatever the ending is leads to Toni keeping the belt but not pinning Bayne either. I feel bad for Swerve getting sacrificed but he's shown he can eat a loss now and then and stay strong/over so he'll be fine.

Penelope is right there to force a DQ. For that matter, Mariah could always return for payback. They could do it a lot of ways, even a brawl-out for DQ, DDQ, whatever would work to kill the match but not piss off the fans too much.

EDIT: I would hope Tony's smart enough not to use Mariah, though. She needs to go away and cool off for awhile before returning, maybe say ship her back to Stardom or even CMLL (hey, that's where they're hiding my wonderful Lady Frost right now), perhaps to grab a belt and look big coming back.

You don't need to ship Mariah off to Japan or Mexico or, even worse - ROH, just keep her separated from Toni for a long time. Have her go after the TBS title, her primary motivation for doing so is that it's something Toni has never won. Mariah is forever the "bitter ex", Toni is the one that "moved on". They'll come together eventually again, maybe out of necessity, or love, but they're always intertwined. That's how I'd book their relationship moving forward.

Picked my tickets up for this today, I'm pretty excited to see Speedball/Ricochet/Omega live.

Enjoy, mate. Let's have a road report please.

I've been extremely lucky with what I've gotten to see live at AEW, as this will be my 3rd AEW PPV.  At Full Gear 2022 I got to see Eddie Kingston/Jun Akiyama, the roof blowing off when Hayter won the Womens Belt and at Revolution 2024 I got to see Sting's last match.   I don't expect anything that epic to happen at Dynasty, but I definitely love the fact that no matter what you think about AEW, their PPVS always deliver, especially times when it doesn't seem like ti should or the build doesn't indicate it's going to be fire show.   Bandido/Jericho is really intriguing to me.

I’ve gone back and forth on going to this. I almost bought presale, but they were a little rich for my blood and I knew they would have deals. I then almost bought during one of the sales, but between the various parties they wanted almost 40% in fees and I got really pissed and closed the window. Now, it appears as though I won’t even be in Philly on that night, but if I am and I catch up in time and like the card, I may just suck it up and go since it’s something of a one-time only chance for me.

If it's a one-time only chance, I'd take it. AEW PPV's nearly always deliver. Regrets suck.
