Vincey Greene Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 I'm fine with the Cousins move but only if it ends in Shanny and Cousins winding up together elsewhere next season after Kirk wins these last few meaningless (for the Washington Football Team) games. So basically if this ends like Any Given Sunday I'm with it.* * I truthfully don't care, and in fact whatever is worst for the Redslurs is fine by me. As for Cutler, any Bears fan who isn't lockstep behind their best QB in modern times is nuts. Give him the dough and play him whenever he's up for it. Panthers/Jets ought to be a snorefest, but make no mistake, it's a loseable game for the Cats.
Death From Above Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 I like the cut of Keenan Allen's jib. 1
RonL21 Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 I guess no one watched the Chargers beat the Broncos
Niners Fan in CT Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 I guess no one watched the Chargers beat the Broncos I had it on while I was reading stuff on here and watching movie trailers. Edit: Rivers voice is always hilarious to me.
Brian Fowler Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 Manning did move ever closer to shattering the single-season TD mark.
Fat Spanish Waiter Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 Manning did move ever closer to shattering the single-season TD mark. It would sort of be appropriate if he did that in the same season Tom Brady won another Superbowl.
Kyle Casey Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 The single season record for passing yards is also within Peyton's grasp, albeit a bit more difficult to obtain than the TD mark. He needs to average 333 yards over the last 2 games to pass Brees. Considering that he's averaged 343 yards per game up to now, that certainly seems attainable.
Niners Fan in CT Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 I don't care about any of these passing records. They aren't all that impressive considering you can't breathe on the receivers.
Burgundy LaRue Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Let Kaep get near one of those records. We all talk smack until the QB of our favorite team is lighting it up.
Niners Fan in CT Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 I'm more concerned with my QB's ring totals
Burgundy LaRue Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Let me count. . .ZERO! (I say this with love, it's not like Luck has one either)
FireThunder Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 I was pretty tired to comment on Thursday's game, but it was a good win. And it was a textbook example of how to beat the Broncos: keep Peyton on the sideline and chew up the clock. A fortunate bounce with the interception late helped put the game away. Chargers still need to win out against the Raiders and Chiefs to really have a shot at the second wild card slot, but it's still very possible.
Niners Fan in CT Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Ravens don't have an easy schedule either
Jerry Hattrick Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 So that guy has a new batch of his "if NFL teams had european type football badges" logos out http://www.footballasfootball.com/ I really don't like the new Colts one, and the Bears one looks awful, but damn, that San Fran one is ridiculous. I feel the same about Jacksonville's. I can barely tell that is suppose to be a Jaguar logo.
Jrag Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 The Ravens will beat the Lions this week.. I don't know if Da Bears can win out, but I'm pretty positive the Lions will do there best to blow it.
Spontaneous Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 And I'll be wasting my Monday night watching them blow their best chance in forever to win the North. I cannot tell if it is parity or a general suck that has clouded the NFC North, NFC East and AFC South this year but wow. Although if Rodgers wasn't hurt they probably have this division locked up. Do we really want the Chargers to get the second wild card? I mean, they will inevitably choke it away despite leading by 21 going into the fourth or River will fumble the kneel down to end the game to then have it taken back for the go ahead. It's like watching a slightly more successful Lions team.
Niners Fan in CT Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 Chargers are scary though. They're not a Super Bowl contender but they are certainly a team that nobody (Broncos, Pats, Bengals) wants to see. I think the contenders make quick work of the Ravens or Dolphins (sorry guys).
Death From Above Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 The Chargers have been fun this year again. I don't know what the hell Rivers was smoking last season, but he's been back to his old self. I don't think they are a Superbowl threat either but at least they have generally entertaining games for the neutrals.
Sammy Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 I'm not sure the Chargers are a "good bad team" or a "bad good team." They've been wildly inconsistent this year, but really fun to watch. I'm rooting for them.
ivpvideos Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 AFC is pretty much wide open as far as who could make it to the Superbowl. Wouldn't shock me in the least to see any one of the six playoff teams make it.
Jrag Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 And I'll be wasting my Monday night watching them blow their best chance in forever to win the North. I cannot tell if it is parity or a general suck that has clouded the NFC North, NFC East and AFC South this year but wow. Although if Rodgers wasn't hurt they probably have this division locked up. . The Bears lost 3 pro-bowlers on defense and few other defensive starters due to injury. Pack have had some injuries on the defensive side as well. It isn't just Rodgers. I wouldn't lump them in with the other two divisions, but I guess the end result is similar. At full strength it would still be one of the best divisions in football. The Lions are incredibly fortunate to have a lead on the division at all, but they will still give someone else a shot at it i'm sure.
Dolfan in NYC Posted December 14, 2013 Author Posted December 14, 2013 KC officials are exhuming the body of Jovan Belcher to perform tests on his brain. Today is the anniversary of his murder/suicide.
Burgundy LaRue Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 I wonder why this wasn't done at the time of his death. Maybe the family wasn't in an emotional position to think about it.
RIPPA Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 The Vikings are expected to be without both Adrian Peterson and Toby Gerhart today. Adjust your fantasy lineups and betting preferences accordingly
