Seems like most of the Summer Blockbusters have had a kicking. The exceptions are Rocketman and John Wick 3.

While not good - Shaft right now is higher than MIB:I

39% to 26%

That's not good

Summer movies need a flex schedule when you know we’ll get weeks of shitty movies. I guess what I’m asking... Please dammit, just release Once Upon A Time In Hollywood already.

I'm surprised at the 100% for Toy Story 4 because there was apprehension about a new entry and expectations on it with what came before.

No mercy for garbage blockbusters this year. Things that would normally eek out average scores are getting slaughtered left and right.

I had Shaft dead last on my RT list so the fact that there are two movies (so far) below it blows

Jeez. I had MiB:I as #3 on my RT list. You might as well mail Pinocchio to me now.

@S.K.o.S., I think you were drunk when you posted that update. Turns out I'm top of the leader board. If you can amend that when sobered up? Cheers.

Happy birthday @S.K.o.S. and take your time with the update I like the way this one looks.

You like how it looks?

This is the first time since the magical 2013 season that I may stand a chance at a REAL victory, not the booby prize!

That 2013 season was so out of nowhere that the board had to rebuild itself and destroy any proof I had a chance!

When my points more than double but I got up a spot I know it's been a messy week.

Same happened to me. I'm doing terribly and I'm still lumped in the middle of the pack. Absolutely wild.

The underwhelming box offices continues as Men In Black is projecting to open with only $26 million

(Shaft is also doing terrible but if you expect big BO numbers from it you are a fool)

Someone expected Shaft to make Marvel Studios money?

Toy Story 4 has gotten its first "rotten" review.

It now sits at 99% (117 reviews)

With their new format - I can't figure out how to find the specific bad review. All I know it is not from a Top Critic

EDIT - Nevermind. Figured it out

It was from the dude from National Review. I am sure you are shocked.

Armond White.  The Uncle Ruckus of movie reviewers.

There is already a running joke here in the office that he would've given Toy Story 4 an even worse review if Disney had subbed Christie for Barbie.

It's just one filmmaker's opinion, but still interesting.  The highest anyone put it on their RT list was 9th.
