dogwelder Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 I refuse to believe that there are Skins fans on Long Island. 1
RIPPA Posted May 6, 2019 Posted May 6, 2019 You are going to be so bitter when the Giants beat the Fins this year 1
Contentious C Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 In the 'not at all news to anyone' department, Joe Namath talks about being an alcoholic. But man, does he ever sound like the real-life blueprint for BoJack Horseman. All we need is an oppressive maternal figure. And a cotton candy machine.
RIPPA Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 Quote Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul suffered a potentially season-ending fractured neck in a single-car accident last week in South Florida, league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Tuesday. Pierre-Paul, 30, will likely need surgery, a source told Schefter. He will be visiting with neck specialists at some point this week to get their opinions, with the hope that a portion of this season can be saved. The accident occurred early Thursday morning in Broward County. Pierre-Paul sought medical attention at a hospital and was released. He was not cited for the accident. 1
RIPPA Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 God Bless sports talk callers Someone just called up and said that if Case Keenum beats out Dwayne Haskins in training camp, the Skins should trade him for a second round pick in the 2020 draft 4
Dolfan in NYC Posted May 9, 2019 Author Posted May 9, 2019 Ben Watson had intended to retire this off-season. But now, he's got 4 teams bidding for his services - SF, Buffalo, KC, and N*w Engl*nd.
Dolfan in NYC Posted May 9, 2019 Author Posted May 9, 2019 Jax LB Telvin Smith has announced he's sitting out the 2019-20 season for personal reasons.
RIPPA Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 Seahawks released Doug Baldwin and Kam Chancellor today Both with the Failed Physical designation
Dolfan in NYC Posted May 10, 2019 Author Posted May 10, 2019 Btw, the Baldwin and Chancellor releases allow the two of them to keep their bonuses. If they'd retired, they would have to have given back a prorated portion of it. So good on Seattle.
Dolfan in NYC Posted May 10, 2019 Author Posted May 10, 2019 Also the Dolphins locked down their star DB Xavien Howard! 5/76.5 46M guaranteed.
Dolfan in NYC Posted May 13, 2019 Author Posted May 13, 2019 One can only hope this means the Bears have a shot at winning this year...
Dolfan in NYC Posted May 14, 2019 Author Posted May 14, 2019 Dion Jordan is getting 10 games off because he was stupid and took Adderall.
RIPPA Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 Oh and Adam Gase is the interim GM This is why I never buy into the Pats dynasty hype. They are in the dumbest division in sports 1
Dewar Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 So I can basically ignore the NFL for another season? This is helping me cut the cord a whole lot easier. 1
Dolfan in NYC Posted May 15, 2019 Author Posted May 15, 2019 There's something to be said about the perpetual dumpster fire having a flare up, but -- as a Dolphins fan, I'll just say... Fuck The Jets. 2
RIPPA Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 All reports are that basically Gase won a power struggle vs Maccagnan Quote The shake-up comes amid reports of internal discord in the organization. ESPN reported during the draft that friction had developed between Maccagnan and Gase because of disagreements over personnel during free agency. Both men denied that a rift had developed in their relationship, but sources said Johnson was so concerned that he began spending more time at the Jets' facility to monitor the Gase-Maccagnan relationship. That is from ESPN
hammerva Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 of all the New York GM that I thought would go first I didn't expect the Jets. I mean to lose a power struggle to Adam Gase? Short of mind control I can't figure that out. 1
