Dolfan in NYC Posted March 26, 2018 Author Posted March 26, 2018 Zeke Upshaw of the Grand Rapids Drive (Detroit's D-League team) collapsed on the court during the team's season finale yesterday. He died this morning. No reason was given for his death. He was 26. 1
Kuetsar Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 Does anyone take a 2nd round flyer on him? Probably not right? I have no idea about his skill level, but on the board it seems to be the consensus that he's not NBA material. Given the amount of baggage his father comes with, I wonder if he even gets a token camp invite.

On the other hand if Lebron comes Lonzo might not even be on the Lakers so who knows.

If the guy was actually any good I could see a team drafting him but he's not a pro prospect at all. The only reason anyone knows him is because of his dad and his brothers.
Zimbra Posted March 29, 2018 Posted March 29, 2018 Steve Nash, Grant Hill, and Jason Kidd are all getting HOF nods this year. ETA: Mo Cheeks, too.

I eagerly await going to Mo Cheeks HOF Night at WFC next season. Also after how badly the two sides parted do the Nets honor Jason Kidd? Magic 8 Ball says "No".

Dolfan in NYC Posted April 26, 2018 Author Posted April 26, 2018 LaVar Ball has pulled both his kids from their Lithuanian team because of playing time. I am as shocked as you.

This has really stopped being funny. It's one thing if this guy wants to act like an attention whore dipshit, but this guy is basically destroying his own kid's careers with his bullshit. He makes Carl and Bonnie Lindros look like Walter Gretzky and his wife in terms of being a horrible stage parent.
Dolfan in NYC Posted May 22, 2018 Author Posted May 22, 2018 The Bucks' Sterling Brown apparently got stun gunned by cops in January during a parking dispute. He's about to sue the Milwaukee PD out of existence. http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/23570465/video-police-using-stun-gun-milwaukee-bucks-rookie-sterling-brown-worries-mayor

Zimbra Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 Andrea Bargnani was apparently on the Italian cover of NBA Live two years running so I'm going with him.
supremebve Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 After some light googling, and I'm going to say we're both wrong. Keith Van Horn was on the cover of NBA Jam '99.
Kuetsar Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 Adam Morrison on the cover of NCAA march madness 07?
Jiji Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 And Keith Van Horn was pretty good and then got paid $4.5 million not to play when he wasn't any good. If that's not a skill... 1

I'm going to have to go with Rob Van Dam on the cover of WWF Road To Wrestlemania X8. Rob worked tween face by necessity since he arguably had the worst gas tank in all of sports entertainment. He had stamina that was tailor made for lying on the mat in a chin lock for six or seven minutes so that he could catch his breath for his next hope spot. 1 1
RIPPA Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Supreme had it right in his very first post. It was Peyton Hillis and it wasn't even close In his one and only good year, he rushed for just over 1100 yards and had 11 TDs which prompted the Browns fans to stuff the ballot for him and get on the cover. He had 1258 rushing yards and 6 TDs the rest of his career (which lasted 4 more years) 1
Dolfan in NYC Posted July 13, 2018 Author Posted July 13, 2018 Charles Oakley was arrested in Las Vegas last night for attempting to cheat in a casino. (He was trying to take chips back from a bet he'd made after the outcome was determined.) This post is mainly to remind @RIPPA to never have any heroes.
