driver Posted June 15, 2023 Posted June 15, 2023 It's songs like Luke Combs cover of "Fast Car" and Zach Bryan's "Something In The Orange" that keep me interested in country. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sL3gEpuoU_g
FireThunder Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 A bluegrass cover of What I've Done by the Melodicka Bros.
SirFozzie Posted July 1, 2023 Posted July 1, 2023 Lzzy Hale, who I know from Shatter Me (with Lindsey Sterling), and her cover of the Lita Ford and Ozzy Osborne's "Close My Eyes Forever", had another one that just hit my playlist, this time, covering Journey with Daughtry 1

AxB Posted July 15, 2023 Posted July 15, 2023 Sometimes, a really good cover can convince you that a song you hate is actually good. And this would be an example of that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJCNx3_jj1A (Faouzia - I'm Blue) 2
odessasteps Posted July 20, 2023 Posted July 20, 2023 In the Italian restaurant where I'm eating dinner, I just heard an Italian cover of California Dreamin. 1
Curt McGirt Posted August 4, 2023 Posted August 4, 2023 Marduk - Into The Crypts Of Rays - YouTube Weird in that they chose such a punk-y song. Marduk is infamously a band with no groove whatsoever so even them playing a D-beat is strange. The bass is nice and loud and pulls off octaves that just get lower on each repeat of the title (which should have always been "Rais" since it's about the Gilles de Rais but that's neither here nor there). 1

odessasteps Posted August 6, 2023 Posted August 6, 2023 I still know them best for inspiring a character in Kingdom Come. https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/Von_Bach_(Earth-22)
Curt McGirt Posted August 6, 2023 Posted August 6, 2023 I always thought Laibach were too esoteric and tongue-in-cheek (and smart) to be taken seriously as even quasi-fascist. It's all clearly mockery. These guys were born behind the Iron Curtain, they know what totalitarianism is, and the art they make has no place within its boundaries. Cobra Commander Posted September 19, 2023 Posted September 19, 2023 I was listening to the stream of a Hawaii reggae station (Q 103) and I noticed two things. One, the station is on Maui and attorneys have arrived on the airwaves after the wildfires and number two? This Reggae cover of “Touch of Grey” done by Marty Dread
