Curt McGirt Posted January 22, 2020 Posted January 22, 2020 (edited) Public social media outing people as sociopaths might be its only real value to the world. People just can't resist touching that element on the stove. Edited January 22, 2020 by Curt McGirt
Dolfan in NYC Posted January 23, 2020 Posted January 23, 2020 February 8 will be hosted by Rupaul. Justin Bieber will be the musical guest.
jaedmc Posted January 23, 2020 Posted January 23, 2020 What kind of Lethal Lottery Battle Bowl madness is this? 1
Dolfan in NYC Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 SNL has suspended production until further notice.
Dolfan in NYC Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 Further notice has arrived. So, we're about to 90 minutes of Lonely Island videos each week.
Neil Koch Posted April 16, 2020 Posted April 16, 2020 I got about 3 "sketches" in before I tapped out. Awful, especially the Pete Davidson segment.
Ace Posted September 16, 2020 Posted September 16, 2020 SNL continues the Presidential stunt-casting trend. Jim Carrey's going to be Biden for this season.
Dolfan in NYC Posted September 16, 2020 Posted September 16, 2020 Oh, and they'll actually be back in studio for their shows (for now)

Dolfan in NYC Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 SNL has cancelled Morgan Wallen as their musical guest for next week after he posted videos on his TikTok showing he was socializing in Alabama at bars and house parties without masking or social distancing.
Gordi the BJW fan Posted October 12, 2020 Posted October 12, 2020 That was a pretty high-quality "worked shoot" there on Weekend Update between Colin Jost and Kate McKinnon with that Dr. Weknowthis character and McKinnon's "Of course I'm not." Even though the moment itself wasn't for real, it sure felt like it was coming from an honest place. 5
Dolfan in NYC Posted October 12, 2020 Posted October 12, 2020 In case you fell asleep, like I did.... here's the sketch of the week: 3 2
jaedmc Posted October 12, 2020 Posted October 12, 2020 Jack White and Daru Jones were absolutely incredible. I got tingles a couple times. Bill Burr's standup sounded a little unpolished but funny. I was popped when he linked his overpopulation obsession to Covid. Not a lot of great sketches tho. They even did a rehash of the Will Ferrell Crate & Barrel/Cracker Barrel routine from a while back but with Kate McKinnon just laughing through it.
Pete Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 Dave Chappelle's opening monologue was long (16 minutes!), raw, more than a little uncomfortable and full of hard truths about today's society. And then this immediately happened. 5
Curt McGirt Posted November 10, 2020 Posted November 10, 2020 I watched the monologue twice. At first I thought he was going easy and then he dropped the hammer big time. As he should. Some of the rest of the spots felt like he had a hand in them too, I just wish he had a better musical guest because Foo's lame, watered-down Springsteen rock is the exact opposite of him (I am very disappointed in you, Dave Grohl).
Pete Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 And then there was THIS. Cindy choked half to death for "Elton." 1 2
John from Cincinnati Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 My understanding is that he did, in fact, not nail that shit.
Ace Posted December 20, 2020 Posted December 20, 2020 It was pretty one-note, and leaned a lot on Fire Marshall Bill. Stunt-casting for President doesn't need to keep happening. Why use Alec Baldwin when Darrell Hammond already works for you?
Eivion Posted December 20, 2020 Posted December 20, 2020 I love how Che gets him every year with this sketch. He just knows the perfect jokes to fuck with Colin.
Pete Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 Takeaways from last night: Pete Davidson is slowly coming into his own with more and more stuff where he isn't out there as "Pete Davidson" doing a bit. I dig the stretches. Bowen Yang REALLY needs a higher profile. We were dying for him as Fran Lebowitz - chef's kiss perfect. Machine Gun Kelly is like if Green Day and Grandaddy had the world's most punchable child. People who say the show isn't funny anymore or that they won't have any material to work with now that Trump is out of office can take a flying leap. 1
