Kuetsar
If you hit the tailback five yards in the backfield on 4th & 1, and then let him get the first, you should be embarrassed. hammerva
All of this bullshit about the NFL rigging the games so that the Cowboys win, that would definitely apply to the Broncos right now. If the NFL had their way we would get a Brady vs Manning game every week
Brian Fowler
And now Denver's defense coming alive.

Brian Fowler
Honestly, Manning looks like he's about 300 years old out there right now. Him not running on that third and five with no one with 15 yards of him really tells a story. Retirement suddenly looks very possible

Brian Fowler
I watched most of season 1, and the premiere of season 2 on the network, but I was really hating myself as I did it...

Gonzo
A 4-yard pass on 4th-and-8. Goodnight, Peyton.
hammerva
That was a horrible spot but they are moving at such a slow pace I don't think it will matter if they reverse the spot

Hail Sabin
The whole bar was going nuts when Dez caught the ball and I was telling them the ball move so it was going to the replay booth. As for the current game this Peyton is what got my bounced from the DVDVR money league playoffs in the 1st round.
Niners Fan in CT
Wow, so I hate to say it but this is looking very much like a Pats and Seahawks Super Bowl. Not that I would have been any happier with Denver. Maybe Luck will crush New England. That'd be nice. If Rodgers wasn't hurt I'd give them a puncher's chance. Oh well. Eat a lot of snacks and watch the commercials.
pipGofern
I thought it was clearly short myself. He was lucky to get as close as he did considering where he caught that pass. Well I'm as shocked as anybody that Peyton went one and done in the playoffs...
Brian Fowler
Barring the miracle, Denver might be better off if Peyton does retire. They were built for these last two years, and they might be better off just going into a rebuild right now.
Skelemania
Well, Colts Vs. Packers is still alive for the Super Bowl! Yay! Let's hope it's not Patriots Vs. Seahawks then...
dogwelder
So if Peyton does retire, what's his legacy? Best regular season QB ever? Because as I think Simmons pointed out a few weeks ago, Peyton's postseason stats are pretty mediocre.

Because as I think Simmons pointed out a few weeks ago, Peyton's postseason stats are pretty mediocre. Better than Warren Moon, worse than Joe Montana. People never agree on greatest ever polls or anything anyway, so his name will just get mentioned along guys like Elway, Montana & Brady and naysayers will always bring up rings and postseason losses. Probably best to not overthink it. :-)
