Too bad Johnson had to waste his once-every-four-years team on a season when Jameis was still in the conference. Nah. EVA Posted January 1, 2015 Share Posted January 1, 2015 GT loses some key guys on defense, plus most of the RBs, including the top 2 B-backs, who are just as critical to that offense as the QB (they actually go to the QB meetings). Statistically, it's hard to replicate what they did this year in terms of getting turnovers and scoring defensive TDs. They will still be a good team, but not as good as this year. All 3 plays were called for right around the line of scrimmage. You have to attempt at least once to pass beyond the sticks. Not too impressive.
