And that's with Seattle being pre-Super Bowl hangover and the Niners being pre-"Harbaugh is a dick" moody level of play. They're definitely a legit team. It'll just come down to what it always came down to with Palmer - the playoffs. Since he got Von Oelhoffen'd in his first ever playoff game, he's never showed up in big games.
