Craig H Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 He probably shot him with a rubber band gun or marshmallow gun.
Playa Shunna Ver 3.0 Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 I'm glad Buff is off the somas though. That is some tough shit. Suboxone is no joke though. It helps you get off the opiates, but it is also a bitch to get off of. I had a bud who struggled greatly with this problem. I was surprised because I would have actually liked to hear more of Buff on the show. It was a good interview.
alan Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Someone please tell me I'm not an idiot for believing Buff's stories. His childlike understanding of police authority rings true in a sort of tyranny of the nouveau riche hillbilly way.
Rev Ray Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 By the way: If you have a friend who's goading Scott Steiner against you... HE'S NOT YOUR FRIEND. 1
Rev Ray Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 By the way, Cliff Compton delivers Regal level facials in Colt's kfc commercial.
Craig H Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Is that commercial on Youtube? EDIT: I should have actually looked first... http://youtu.be/brFd4P_Xpsg Man, that is a weird commercial.
Johnny Sorrow Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 The latest show with Gangrel is really good. But when he mentions that he briefly was called Lestat, and Cabana had no idea what that meant, is it right for me to be thinking "How could you be that ignorant about something famous ?" or is Lestat not as common knowledge as I think it is?
worldcupfever Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Colt's sadly in the dark on a lot of things. 1
odessasteps Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 In 2014, i can see people not immediately remembering the Anne Rice vampire-verse.
Johnny Sorrow Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 In 2014, i can see people not immediately remembering the Anne Rice vampire-verse.Right, but Colt wasn't born ten years ago. I'd imagine a guy in his thirties would maybe have heard of Lestat. Again, maybe it's just me.
BillThompson Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Colt says he never reads, ever, so that probably explains at least part of why he wouldn't know that reference.
george young Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 In 2014, i can see people not immediately remembering the Anne Rice vampire-verse.Right, but Colt wasn't born ten years ago. I'd imagine a guy in his thirties would maybe have heard of Lestat. Again, maybe it's just me. No. Most of the world doesn't know what Lestat is. They know Dracula.
Web Conn Posted April 21, 2014 Author Posted April 21, 2014 Tom Cruise played Lestat in Interview with the Vampire, I find it hard to believe that Colt hasnt seen that movie. Not because of Tom Cruise but because who hasnt seen that movie.
Web Conn Posted April 21, 2014 Author Posted April 21, 2014 It was on TV the other day and I watched it.
JRGoldman Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 I think Colt would know Lestat more from the voice over intro before "House of the Rising Sun" for Jimmy Rave's post Embassy ROH intro. 1
Johnny Sorrow Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 In 2014, i can see people not immediately remembering the Anne Rice vampire-verse.Right, but Colt wasn't born ten years ago. I'd imagine a guy in his thirties would maybe have heard of Lestat. Again, maybe it's just me. No. Most of the world doesn't know what Lestat is. They know Dracula.Right. But I'm not talking about most of the world. I'm talking about dudes in their thirties in America. Like I said, maybe it's just me but Interview was a pretty big movie.
Playa Shunna Ver 3.0 Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 I'm 35 and have never seen Interview with a Vampire. Just figured I would throw that out there. 1
odessasteps Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 If the topic is 90s vampires in popular culture, we need Fowler in here as the expert. Perhaps a movie with tom cruise and brad pitt was more popular with the ladies than the fellas here.
Hoarr Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 He's a Castlevania character, I think. Great interview with Gangrel. Love the part about the rope. How insane would that have been if he was killed on air!
bink_winkleman Posted April 24, 2014 Posted April 24, 2014 So I listened to this and it didn't come off at all that Colt didn't know who Lestat was.
Playa Shunna Ver 3.0 Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 So Rip Rogers just tore up the Art of Wrestling. Awesome show!!!!
