Shartnado
Finally got to the end of Supercard of Honor. The Stardom six woman match was high speed, indeed. Any addition of Stardom women into AEW women's division should be exciting. Kinda like in '95 WWF, the All Japan Women brought something completely new, albeit for one night back then. Both Women's title matches were very good. I wonder if Amanata will now challenge Athena next? Dalton vs Johnny TV was entertaining, but it's probably good that this one is over with. The tag title match was good enough, the six man open challenge was a good surprise, and the main event was intense af. Too bad that Briscoe finally winning the title is kinda like Tommy Dreamer winning the WWECW title back in 2009 at this point. Still, they created a wonderful moment and the match was indeed a war!
HarryArchieGus
I like the opening production of this show. The video looks good and they've been presenting some fun promos off the top pretty regularly. Case in point the Mark Briscoe Promo from Collision. I do wish they'd show the outside of the arena of the city they're in. Solo v Keith was a nice competitive showcase. I wish Bryan Keith well in finding a stronger finish than flipping stunner. Solo is a great hand. I ffwd the Righteous/Archer squash and a lot of this show. ROH features some particularly weak promos every week, but I do like the commitment to the reps and production. Leila Grey/Diamante/Taya v HIrsch/Hogan/Adora a terrific TV match. I was hoping for a Leila win there. I sincerely hope this is not a sign of them giving up on her. She was starting to look really good before her injury/hiatus. What I saw of Lady Frost v Marti Belle looked strong. Belle seems like a fun heel. So pleased to see Lady Frost potentially on the upward. I'm not in the market for Dark Order squashes, but I did catch Uno's awesome looking run. The crowd was hot for the DOs. Garrison v Briscoe was really strong. Mark Briscoe can have a really fun to excellent match with anybody. Everyone knows how good he is yet he's still underrated. The listing of Beast Mortos v Nick Comoroto made me seek out this episode. I wasn't disappointed. Comoroto is hilarious in this new look/presentation. That said, I hope at some point he goes back to his debut look and wins a few matches (in ROH). The Beast Mortos is senesational. There are several talents on this show that I have zero current interest in, but I do appreciate the company's commitment to developing talent, and providing substantial opportunities.
DreamBroken
Fun opening match between Isaiah Kassidy and Komander followed by a solid Dark Order/Top Flight trios match. Always great to see Yuka, her match with Leila Grey probably the best of the mid show squashes. Kingdom vs Outrunners was a nice Proving Ground. Acknowledging the Outrunners showing up later in the back in different attire was amusing. Dug the Red Velvet/Queen Aminata promo, both coming after Billie & Athena should be great. Cool throwback with Red referencing her past victories over Billie on Dark/Elevation. Abadon with the quickest squash of the night. Great little triple threat sprint main event with the Beast Mortos against AR Fox & Blake Christian.
Curt McGirt
All I watched was some of the main, sadly. THE BEAST MORTOS is something else still; that twisting leg thingamajig was nasty, and the immediate finish was something they need to keep, that this guy can kill you whenever and whereever. Want my Dragon match! The other fun thing I caught was the announcers saying that Blake Christian is apparently hanging out with Missy Hyatt and you can find that on social media The jokes write themselves sometimes, folks.
NikoBaltimore
I forgot to mention that in the Discord but yeah Missy turned on Janela in the title match at Spring Break and sided with Blake. Also, I need to see more GCW but Blake is becoming much better as a shithead heel than he maybe ever was as a face. I'm sure he's playing both when doing the indies but I would love to see him back on ROH as a heel to see how he would fare.
DreamBroken
I love the unique atmosphere of early afternoon at Daily's Place. Fun opener from the Infantry vs the Outrunners. Dug the JD Drake promo. Bunch of squashes in between. Solid quick main event from Aminata vs Robyn Renegade ends a short episode this week at under an hour. Good to see Robyn back after a month+ away.
For Great Justice
Awesome! Made my day https://x.com/ringofhonor/status/1786173574056960039?s=46&t=JezDTqtGbK8qkBaDwTOzMw
DreamBroken
A continuation of daytime Daily's Place for another quick episode. Pretty fun women's trios to open this week. Nice finish by Diamante. Kiera vs the returning Ashley D'Amboise was a good little 5 mins. Billie Starkz made quick work of Dream Girl Ellie, dug the 2 shot kill finish.
Johnny Sorrow
I just saw on twitter that BOOM Pro Wrestling's Brady Malibu is on the ROH card tonight in Vancouver. Brady's awesome and is a great guy. I'm jazzed for him.

DreamBroken
Mostly short matches and squashes this week but a few highlights. Surprised it took this long for Satnam Singh to be wrestling on ROH with Lethal too. Skye Blue vs. Rachael Ellering was very good. Nicole Matthews is always great and put on a fun main event with Athena. Her graphic was simply "Nicole" but she was introduced and talked about otherwise in full name. Nice touch for commentary to go over their SHIMMER history with Nicole having wins in the past over Athena. Aminata looked awesome on the post-match save. Loving the setup of Queen as Athena's next big challenge.
DreamBroken
Welcome back to the WorkHorsemen! Nice opener from Kyle Fletcher vs. London Lightning. Cool little vignette on Marina Shafir. Jimmy Jacobs randomly getting a crazy pyro entrance was amusing. Jacobs vs Satnam Singh looked like it could be interesting but didn't last a minute. Matt Menard vs. Mike Bennett was super fun and got a good amount of time to it. Solid 8 man tag main event.

The line-ups aren't quite pulling me in. On 4/19/2024 at 10:37 PM, DreamBroken said: He's a Nightmare Factory student, used to be a regular on AEW Dark as Dean Alexander. I've seen him at a couple of the Toronto shows in company gear. He and the Infantry sat in my row during Forbidden Door.
DreamBroken
Athena and the Undisputed Kingdom proving ground matches over Viva Van and Comoroto & Jacoby were pretty much the same length of quick squash. Too bad Comoroto & Jacoby get no entrance but their weird angle continues anyways with the loss. Red Velvet looked good in her squash of KEL in under 2 minutes, nice post-match furthering of Red vs Billie Starkz. Big Shotty vs Andretti vs Aaron Solo was solid. Big home pop for the Bollywood Boyz against the Premiere Athletes, fun match. Pretty good main event of Top Flight vs. WorkHorsemen
DreamBroken
According to a Wrestlenomics article, as part of the AEW deal with ESports Stadium in Arlington TX, there are two additional unannounced dates for Sunday July 28 and Sunday August 11 tentatively listed as ROH Tapings for August & September, so there's potential for a return to a more Universal-esque taping schedule coming soon. This week starts with Queen Aminata looking excellent in a squash of Mazzeratti followed by a quick Marina Shafir squash. Really good Television Championship match from Kyle Fletcher vs. Dalton Castle. Next we're getting a Fletcher vs. Big Shotty rematch in 2/3 falls. I loved their last match so could be great. Comoroto & Watts take another loss this time to the Infantry. Nice Billie squash and more of her feud with Red Velvet. Pretty quick triple threat trios match ends the night. A dedicated taping would really do wonders for them. The biggest issue is that the continued cross over and after-thought tapings don't allow for real investment in it, which is a disservice to the wrestlers.
DreamBroken
Solid series of squashes to open this week from Billie, Shane Taylor Promotions, & Red Velvet. 4 way trios tag was fun. the Women's trios that followed was good with an interesting mix of teams. Felt like a big win for Alex Windsor to pin Leyla Hirsch. Harley vs. Adora was quick but good, Harley's been consistently delivering and Adora is always a highlight. DreamBroken
It's a return to a longer Honor this week with a couple built up title matches included. Nice showcase for Titan to open. Anthony Henry as the 3rd man with Karter & Griff vs. Serpentico as the 3rd man with the Infantry made a somewhat random trios, but nice to see Henry score a win. Athena says she has torn ankle ligaments, out for 4-6 months but is not giving up the title while Aminata & Red Velvet accuse her of faking the injury and commentary speculate on what to believe. Weird segment but would suck if Athena was hurt right before they return to Arlington where Athena's reign began. Brandon Cutler being back to his heel Bucks gimmick I guess means the end of his ROH comedy team with Cabana. Strange match that positioned Jacoby Watts as the babyface suddenly as he squashes Cutler in a couple minutes which is treated as an upset. Some quick squashes in between from Marina Shafir, Iron Savages, & Lance Archer. Atlantis Jr. challenging the winner of the main event to defend the ROH TV title in Mexico is a cool little touch, always love the little things that add a bigger feel of importance to what's going on. Diamante/Leyla was short but a nice bounce back win for Leyla after taking the fall last week. Undisputed Kingdom retaining over Menard & Parker was pretty fun. Really good 20 minute 2/3 falls main event for the TV title from Fletcher vs. Big Shotty. Both guys took some absolutely insane stuff throughout. Fletcher's piledriver to win the first fall looked brutal. Lee's diving destroyer and tope sunset bomb were crazy, he had some great hope spots. Good stuff. hammerva
Athena wasn't just the face of Ring Of Honor women's Division, she was one of the few faces in the entire company. If ROH had any traction beside the hardcores, she would be top 5 woman in industry. Hopefully this is just an angle like Billie and her neck. The best part of angle will be Ian wanting to see the best in all while Caprice knows the history and what she is capable of.
DreamBroken
Quick episode this week but a strong main event of Mark Briscoe defending the ROH Championship against Kyle Fletcher.
DreamBroken
ROH in CMLL Spoiler Atlantis Jr. just defeated Kyle Fletcher to become the new ROH TV Champ. Didn't see that coming, but I liked that they set up Atlantis making the challenge a few weeks ago. Elsewhere AEW-related, Jericho showed up and attacked Mistico. DreamBroken
Only three matches on Honor this week and they are each Proving Grounds. the Bang Bang Gang beat the Dark Order in trios. Komander & Metalk came close to the time so I thought they might pull it off against Undisputed Kingdom but was not to be with a couple minutes left. And then Lee Moriarty ends up taking Wheeler Yuta to the time limit to earn a Pure title shot. They made official Red Velvet/Billie Starkz and Aminata/Athena for Death Before Dishonor, so I guess Moriarty/Yuta will rematch there as well. Vignette for Maximum Male Models, Mansoor & Mason Madden are coming to ROH as MxM Collection
