Cobra Commander Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 Ohio State handling Georgia's run game by taking a big lead and making them depend more on Stetson instead of RBs.
Raziel Posted January 1, 2023 Author Posted January 1, 2023 That was ugly. And deserved an early night.
hammerva Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 (edited) Holding them to a FG saved the game. Still a long way to go for Georgia but giving up a TD and they are done And Harrison Jr is out of the game. Good for the health of him. Terrible for Ohio State because Georgia has no clue how to stop him Edited January 1, 2023 by hammerva
Gonzo Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 Hooray for kicking the field goal to take it from a two-score game to. . .a two-score game.
Cobra Commander Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 not sure what people thought pre-game, but it feels like a game that's more Stroud vs Bennett is not good for Georgia. 1
Tabe Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 Good grief, you can't possibly be any more open than that.

Yeah. Bennett is a great story and I think it's a better QB than some people give him credit for. But one of these guys will be a top ten pick next year, and the other will be selling insurance or similar.
Cobra Commander Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 Stetson's gonna probably end up running for the US Senate in 6 years or something (or another office instead), he probably shouldn't have been the top Heisman candidate from this team but Georgia's undefeated (for now) and he's the QB. Sorta like how Tua got MVP talk for being the QB when the Dolphins did well.
hammerva Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 Did they leave too much time on the clock though?
Cobra Commander Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 if only the Sun Bowl was an ESPN bowl game, then they could mention the similarity between this ending and the Sun Bowl
Brian Fowler Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 Well, no matter how this goes... This is obviously the best semifinal day in CFP history. 1

hammerva Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 Stetson Bennett had the biggest oh fuck look you could have.
hammerva Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 Not even close. The clock literally struck midnight on Ohio State season
Contentious C Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 So I guess a 2-touchdown lead is like a 2-goal lead in hockey...

Cobra Commander Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 am I forgetting the rules of College Football or was there an option to run the ball in a fashion where the kicker isn't on a hashmark?
Tabe Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 (edited) Tremendous pair of games. End of the day, Michigan is 13-1 and none of Bama, Ohio, and Notre Dame will win the title and that's OK by me. Edited January 1, 2023 by Tabe 1
