If Jericho stays away for a little longer and then comes back as a Paul Jones style manager, tormenting Brisco while not wrestling, I'd take that. If Jericho committed to the gimmick and showed some ass, that might turn into something classic. I'm looking through old EVOLVE cards and it's crazy seeing shows where everyone has ended up in WWE (and AEW in some cases) except Caleb Konley and So Cal Val.

It pretty much plays the same as thte PS2 release, with updated graphics. Looks good. Biggest difference is it replaced the Job Board with the Zodiac System, which is just 12 different Job boards that specialize in certain areas (ie, some boards are better overall for casters, some for melee).

Gail's twitter account was fantastic when she was active on there. 10% legitimately answering questions, 15% funny asides, 25% heartfelt interactions with fans, 50% hilarious trolling. Some of her sticking points (endlessly pissing off fanboys by saying stuff like Cyclops' eyes shot heat vision is a particularly memorable and long lasting one) never failed to make me laugh. i have no doubt that the same level of fun and touching has migrated with her to bluesky.

yeah, i feel like i'm going to enjoy this for the popcorn book it is. i'm fairly hit-or-miss with Snyder, but when he aims for 'fun', he's usually on point.

The Balloon Boy doc on Netflix was pretty good, totally remember the day when it all went down. Such a surreal event with the entire country watching a flying jiffy pop and debating if the kid inside was dead or not. Totally thought it was a hoax in the days after the event and even for maybe the first half of the doc, then they showed how law enforcement railroaded the parents and I realized it wasn't a hoax. The biggest takeaway from the doc is never talk to law enforcement without a lawyer!!!!

They also gave Jacob deGrom his bonus too. I believe the Phillies did this for a couple of their pitchers too but that was also tied to them being pissy that Jacob Misiorowski was selected over their guys

I took some time away from Destiny after season 2 of The Final Shape and I decided I would try to come back to see if I like what Destiny 2.5 had to offer. I hadn't read anything about the new expansion, so imagine my surprise when I came back and I was at 10 light. I got through the first mission last night and it's okay. Could do with less ball of light but we'll see how it goes for the rest of the campaign.

I'd potentially be down for this. My problem tends to be there are weeks where I never turn on a video game console because of life and work. I don't know if I'd do my alma mater (Troy) or find something else to do. I'll probably do a Troy build at some point at least solo. I'm struggling right now to not just be INT happy on All American, and I need to get better at the RPO which I really never bothered to mess with less year which kind of makes Auburn's playbook less than ideal.
