Josh Mann Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 How could they not boo? You all remember what happened the LAST time a fat guy in a red smock showed up in Phily....
FireThunder Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Hey, there's the Michael Vick that gives defensive co-ordinators nightmares!
BobbyWhioux Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 ...assuming they don't draft a kicker , a passable lineman over an all-universe WR or a 270 lb quarterback who had one good game in college. Lombardi has done all of these things in the first round. With the caveat that Grampa Al was over his shoulder, but still. Hey, the Kicker one worked out!
Death From Above Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 That play never gets old. Just wish the Giants had scored on it.
FireThunder Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 And we can now add "Buttsnap" to the NFL fan vernacular.
Burgundy LaRue Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 I can't believe you just made me think of this: I made Piranesi think! My work is done! *smiles proudly*
muhammedboehm Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Love ESPN score update they say the scores 13-6 cause that missed FG was good
hammerva Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 That was a rather lukewarm jersey banner ceremony for McNabb. You can tell that the fans wanted to be respectful but deep down didn't give a shit.
elizium Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Mike Mayock: "Uric Bury" Well, that's almost his name you muppet.
Burgundy LaRue Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 That was a rather lukewarm jersey banner ceremony for McNabb. You can tell that the fans wanted to be respectful but deep down didn't give a shit. I wish Philly hadn't done it, in that the fans don't care and why subject McNabb to such indifference. It's like kicking a guy in the package after sleeping with his wife.
piranesi Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 This is pathetic. No team with a quarterback they trust just folds up like this in a two score game with 3:00 left.
hammerva Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 The more you watch the Eagles there is only one thing that I can think of and that is that the Redskins really really sucks to make them look that great
piranesi Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 The more you watch the Eagles there is only one thing that I can think of and that is that the Redskins really really sucks to make them look that great It's amazing that all anyone on t.v. would talk about for the first three weeks were those two teams...who are both terrible. When is the Eagle's birthday? ESPN will do a whole day following them around.
Death From Above Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 This was like pure Alex Smith football. Pretty? No. Should have scored more? Yes. Turned the ball over? No. Efficiently ate the clock when needed? Yes. He's really become this interesting figure to me in what a strange career he's had and because he doesn't play an aesthetically pleasing game no one ever wants to give him any credit for anything. Not a pretty win but pretty amazing Chiefs won 2 games last year and are already 3-0.
Josh Mann Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 This game was the most fitting tribute to Donovan McNabb imaginable 2
Fat Spanish Waiter Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 My God this Chip Kelly offence.
The Man Known as Dan Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 You know, I picked KC to win a wildcard, but looking at the rest of the conference, I'm thinking KC might be the 2nd best team in the AFC. Also, lol, the AFC West is the best division in the conference.
Josh Mann Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Overlooked in all of the Chiefs 3-0 hoopla is tonight, Sean Smith held onto the ball. Of these two things I find the latter harder to believe.
Niners Fan in CT Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Well, outside of the Bengals and the Fighting Brady's who else is there? I guess you have to throw the Texans in there. AFC is looking pretty awful so far.
bink_winkleman Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 It's amazing that all anyone on t.v. would talk about for the first three weeks were those two teams...who are both terrible. Amazing how? Shit is never ending. It's two NFC East teams. Every one of them except one has been complete garbage for years, but they all get a never ending stream of media attention and when they're actually mentioned as one of the worst divisions in football, it's always prefaced with "the once-mighty NFC East..." Also, I have no idea how anyone picked Philly here. But I do agree that these Chiefs are super solid for an AFC team.
Death From Above Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 The Cowboys could honestly win the division this year. And it's not like they've done anything to suggest they are actually improving, really.
