2015 NBA Playoffs - QUARTERFINALS

Snell should play more no doubt.  The lineup you mentioned is probably our best defensive LU, but it makes it really really hard on Jimmy and Rose on the other end.  It shouldn't be as hard as it is, but when you are running screens with Joakim it's pretty much 2 on 1.  Thib's has run a few extra screens with Taj, but otherwise the strategy seems unchanged.

Noah's defense is still really solid. Just slower and less of those crazy hustle diving plays, but his help defense is as brilliant as always.  He makes everyone on the floor better in that regard.  I wish he could play all of his minutes at the 5.

His role has to change, though.  Jason Kidd's blueprint has pretty much destroyed any hope of him returning to point-center form.  He can't blow by the more lumbering centers anymore and he still can't post up the smaller players.

People were giving Blatt shit after game 1 for "wasting" Lebron on Noah, but that is the 100% right thing to do if you can get away with it.  It pretty much turns Lebron into a free safety.  Maybe Blatt would have figured that out on his own, but in my mind it's that damn Jason Kidd's fault!  Thibs should have ripped the Noah-centric sets out of the playbook when he saw Kidd put Giannis and Middleton on him.

Someone should just give Tristan Thompson some Dennis Rodman rebounding tapes because he could be in this league for a long time just being a lower level Rodman.  If he keeps this up, the Cavs are going to have to "pay that man".

Lebron can't and shouldn't be guarding the best person on the other team for the majority of the game, while carrying most of the offensive load with Kyrie.  Too much energy to do that for multiple games for him now.

It's another blow to the Cavs if Iman Shumpert is out Friday.  He has played very well with JR out.  Tough.

...ish.

During a timeout at last night’s Cavaliers vs. Bulls playoff game at The Q in Cleveland, we ran a 1-minute in-arena video that was intended to be a humorous spoof on a popular commercial centered on a song and dance from the classic movie ‘Dirty Dancing.’ While the video was not intended to be offensive, it was a mistake to include content that made light of domestic violence.

Domestic violence is a very serious matter and has no place in a parody video that plays in an entertainment venue. We sincerely apologize to those who have been affected by domestic violence for the obvious negative feelings caused by being exposed to this insensitive video.

The Cavaliers organization has a strong and lengthy track record of supporting domestic violence-related causes and efforts. We will continue to proudly work with our regional partners at the Domestic Violence & Child Advocacy Center in support of their numerous programs to end domestic violence in our country once and for all.

"Sorry to anyone who might have been affected by domestic violence" followed by some PR spin about how awesome they are.

Yeah......I got nothin'. I guess when you're from Ohio, you're just kind of used to shitty things happening, and the things you love being generally awful. It's like being a pro wrestling fan, but for everything.

Anyway, go Cavs?

Apparently Matt Barnes found James Harden's mom in the crowd last night and told her to suck his dick.

Eh... he apologized

Doesn't matter.

Just giving you a hard time, but the contrite apology not mattering to the defense attorney is making me giggle a little bit.

Tip your hat to Rose.  It seems like the Cavs have an injury situation after every game.  Kyrie might be hurt.  Paul Gasol too.

Sunday's game is obviously a big one.
