Brian Fowler Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Huh. I'd be happier if Ohio hadn't apparently became a factory of unstoppable qbs.
Craig H Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 If that's true about Golson he can go fuck himself. Dumbass.
Tabe Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Wait, Miller is transferring?Where have you been? Him transferring has been talked about for weeks.
Dewar Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Miller has graduated as well, so he can join the team as soon as he transfers.
cwoy2j Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Duke Johnson declared himself eligible for the NFL draft over the weekend. His mother allegedly posted this on Facebook, saying the players would transfer out if the NCAA wouldn't make them sit out a year because of the horrible coaching situation: She's probably right. Also, I've tailgated with the NJFLACANE guy. He's a piece of work.
Tabe Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Jameis Winston has declared for the NFL. Speaking of whom, his accuser at FSU is suing the school for Title IX violations over their rape investigation.
Hail Sabin Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Jameis Winston has declared for the NFL. Speaking of whom, his accuser at FSU is suing the school for Title IX violations over their rape investigation. She will also be suing Jameis shortly after he is drafted.
The Nature Boy Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 How long does Jameis last in the NFL? A season? What team would be dumb enough to take a chance of him? We've seen what a disaster Johnny Manziel is off the field and Winston makes him look like a choir boy.
Kuetsar Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 How long does Jameis last in the NFL? A season? What team would be dumb enough to take a chance of him? We've seen what a disaster Johnny Manziel is off the field and Winston makes him look like a choir boy. What "Purple Drank" 2.0? Probably two or three years, just because of the pride of the team that drafts him. . .
The Nature Boy Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 I predict that we'll be seeing Jameis Winston on a VH1 reality show within the decade.
Burgundy LaRue Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 All jokes aside, there's a real possibility of Winston landing himself in prison within the next decade.
Jerry Hattrick Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 ...because I have no shame and a reputation of being dead wrong, to uphold. You watch, Jameis will get his act straight and become one of the greatest QB's of his generation.
Josh Mann Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 Jameis not being able to consistantly hit a 15-yard out is a bigger red flag than his rap sheet. If I'm Tampa, it's Mariota all the way.
Burgundy LaRue Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 I'm not sold on Mariota, either. Seems like a great guy, but is he truly made for the NFL or does he benefit from a college offense that can make almost anyone look good?
Brysynner Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Mariota = Joey Harrington 2.0 Winston = Somewhere between Ryan Leaf 4.0 and Ben Rothlisberger 3.0
EVA Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Mariota is such an obvious system QB. Just another Graham Harrell or Case Keenum. Only difference is he has SIZE~! and the great athleticism that all NFL teams are gaga for these days, despite the fact that hardly any of them really know how to use a dual threat guy. Unless you're Philly or Miami or some other team that's truly ready to commit to that style of offense, it makes no sense to draft him.
Josh Mann Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Mariota has shown the capability on the base level to make NFL throws. Now, you can argue it's in the free-release Pac 12 and I won't disagree. But in that he has something Winston doesn't.
Tabe Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Mariota has all the physical tools, apparently is of good character, and is intelligent. None of that means he'll translate to the NFL because of the system he played in in College but the tools are there. In other news, Michigan has landed Tim Drevno as their Sanford Robertson Offensive Coordinator. Yeah, you read that right. See, it seems Michigan has decided to name all their coaching jobs after donors. Jim Harbaugh's official, complete title is "J. Ira and Nicki Harris Family Head Football Coach". That just makes me wanna hurl. Good grief.

Then when I get home, I'll give it some thought while I check on my Allstate insurance and watch some DVRed Smackdown on my Vizio. I hope I can get you the answer.
Kuetsar Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Jim "Show cause order" Tressel, and the Boz selected to the College Football HOF. Probably could have gone in the stupidity folder, too. . . LOL
Justin877 Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 I feel dirty saying this but I might become a psuedo- Michigan Wolverines fan for the duration of the Jim Harbaugh show. 1
cwoy2j Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Some guys on a Miami message board I go to got together and put up money for a plane to fly a banner over AT&T Stadium this afternoon. The only pic I could find doesn't show much but it says, "The U part 3--Shalala killed Miami Football" 1
Josh Mann Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Al Golden was a coach they thought had upside, likely interviewed fantastic, but he's just in over his head, period. That's the extent of the subversiveness at Miami.
