evilwaldo Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 The Winston dumpster fire continues to burn unabated. Extortion claims by Jameis Winston's adviser add fuel to never-ending PR grease fire http://sports.yahoo.com/news/jameis-winston-s-attorney-adds-extra-layer-with-extortion-accusations-234624710-ncaaf.html
EVA Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 What a terrible week of games. The only Top 25 matchup is tonight, featuring two obvious pretenders from the Pac-12. When ESPN is putting a Notre Dame game that isn't against a team from Michigan in the ABC night slot, you KNOW it's shit. The 9-game SEC schedule can't happen soon enough.
Randy Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 I'll tell you who doesn't want the 9-game SEC schedule: the better SEC East teams. I'm pretty sure they don't want to add a 3rd team from the West back on their schedule.
DMN Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 What a terrible week of games. One obvious pretender, anyway. UCLA is a contender, if they continue to play like they did last night.
Niners Fan in CT Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 UCLA has looked a little shaky in previous games but so has Oregon. Neither are probably going undefeated. It's looking like FSU, two SEC teams and maybe Oklahoma though I could see them tripping up. I guess it wont be four undefeateds anyway.
Brian Fowler Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Well, really, how many years do we have 4 undefeated teams from the power 5.
Niners Fan in CT Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Well, really, how many years do we have 4 undefeated teams from the power 5. Never. I'm assuming the SEC has one undefeated and a one loss. FSU will probably be undefeated. Then maybe we're looking at a one-loss OU or Oregon.
Randy Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 You are assuming that the SEC West champion wins in Atlanta. They will likely get 2 if Alabama is undefeated and Auburn or Texas A&M's only loss is to Bama. Here's a scenario that I thought of yesterday: Bama goes into Atlanta undefeated to face 2-loss Georgia who is ranked around #15. Georgia wins the game. Who gets picked for the CFP? Both? Neither? Bama over the SEC winner?
muhammedboehm Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 And in the club house for biggest non news story that ESPN is going to make into a story Jonny is expected to be at Arkansas vs A&M. Let's over look the Browns are on a bye week and many players in the past have gone to there almaters games during there bye week.
cubbymark Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Northwestern brightens my day by beating Penn State.
Josh Mann Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Like defense? FSU-NC State is not the game for you.
Brian Fowler Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 I need another high profile argument between Jim Harbaugh and the SF GM stat.
Gonzo Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Somewhere in Tuscon, Rich Rodriguez is laughing his ass off.
Brian Fowler Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Is bizarrely similar to the last few ND coaches before Kelley, where they had a ton of success with the previous guy's talent, but once they built their own team, it's ugly as fuck.
Josh Mann Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Seminoles not going down without a fight....at least on offense.
The Erotic Terrorist Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Oh wow, I even heard a "Fire Brady!" chant a little earlier in the Michigan game. Poor Fowler. It should be mentioned that Yale hosted Army today because the Yale Bowl is now 100 years old. Yale won 49-43 in OT. Revenge of the Nerds!
Brian Fowler Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Yeah, I've given up and have resumed binge watching Agents Of Shield.
evilwaldo Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 Northwestern brightens my day by beating Penn State. Game of the Year.
Death From Above Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Jameis Winston is going to be the best Raiders draft bust in years.
Zimbra Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Ohio State assistant coach has a pretty solid uranage: Edit: And the video. That looked painful.
Kuetsar Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Jameis Winston is going to be the best Raiders draft bust in years. His antics are going to make Jamarcus Russell look good. On the field? Who knows . . . 1
andrew8798 Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Down 28-14 didn't think my Aggies would have come back and win it
Josh Mann Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Ohio State assistant coach has a pretty solid uranage: Edit: And the video. That looked painful. Man, he dotted the I with that kid.
