I have seen the 1st 2 episodes & will watch the 3rd one in a few hours. It's been a slow burn so far setting everything up.

Would you say it is watchable? I've got it queued up, but not sure if I want to dive in.

The cancer storyline in Superman & Lois feels a bit off.

Outside of the really unlikely chance they're killing the title role off, you can pay lip service to the suffering of cancer patients and doing it the long way all you like, but ultimately I can see this getting some sort of miracle cure which seems cheap contextually.

Doesn't really feel off to me. Not sure why they can't just have her improve with treatment over time like some do in real life. No reason to make a miracle cure and/or rush through it all.

When that popped up in my Google feed, I swore it was fan made.   So much for me cancelling HBO Max anytime soon with that, The Sympathizer, and True Detective on the horizon.

Interesting they added Dr Phosphorus.

I suppose they had to fill out the roster somehow.  The originals were loosely based on Universal classic monster archetypes that DC may or may not have license to use.  There was a vampire, a werewolf, a Frankenstein's monster, and a gorgon / medusa on the original team.   I was always surprised that they never added a gill-man and a mummy just to round out the lot.

I'm pretty sad the show's coming to an end yet at the same time feel it could have easily ended a couple seasons ago.  I like that they're finishing strong though.

Glad they brought Eddie back for the closing stretch. I've overall been happy with the final season, and it's good to see how much the role means to Gustin. I feel like most of the legacy cast has been really checked out, but he's been the same throughout.

I honestly wish Gustin was in the movie version. He's been the one constant about the show that's kept me watching even when things weren't so hot. If the movie actually is really good it'd be a great launching pad coming off the show.

Finally saw the finale last night. I thought it was fine as well. Not surprised it lacked punch. Felt kind of clear that even if they didn't rush into it they didn't really have a solid plan. Appearances like Oliver and Wally probably have been saved for the actual finale.

Not sure where this should go, but Batman:  The Doom that Came to Gotham was absolutely fantastic,

Will have to check out. As a lifelong Batman fan, I'm so grateful how many great Batman animated movies he's had. I'd rank them as:

5. Batman: Year One (2011).

4. Batman: The Dark Knight Returns (2012-2013).

3. Batman: Under the Red Hood (2010).

2. Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker (2000) *Uncut Version.*

1. Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (1993).

Honourable mention:

Batman: The Long Halloween (2021).

Still need to see Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2019).
