Also, some don't like crowd chanting, but the crowds chants today were fucking aces for me. Fight Forever Please Don't Tap (that the first time that's been used by a WWE crowd?) Let Joe Bleed Fuck yes to those chants.

The ref and doctors stopping the Joe/Finn match added to it so much. Joe was a wounded and bloodied animal out there trying to kill the blue-and-white-cartoon-man. That ref and those doctors were humans just trying to keep the carnage to a minimum. Bones were going to be broken, lives ruined and murderous intentions were being acted upon. It made that match for me.

This was an outstanding show and yet still Nakamura and Joe showed why they’re on a completely different level than anyone else, IMO. Everyone else worked hard and some of them are very good but Nak and Joe are generational talents. You just give them a little bit of time and they’ll get themselves over. Any era, any territory, any promotion, any country. In 30 seconds Nak showed more charisma than anyone who has stepped foot in a WWE ring since The Rock.

And Flair turns on Sting one final time by inducting everyone else in the world but him during his HOF speech.

I'm pretty sure Kevin Von Erich just called New Day "New Gay." This Freebirds speech had more false finishes than a Davey Richards match.

Joe also really portrayed the idea that he was going to kill someone when he was bleeding on the ramp and they were trying to tend to him.

I got home at 2am, popped on Takeover figuring I'd fall asleep a couple matches in and now it's 5am and I'm fucking wide awake after watching that. What a show.

If there is a god or justice or karma in the 'verse, Vince, after that show, locked him and creative in a room with a pile of meth to work through until Sunday morning to rebook every thing they can. Best case, he looks up to Trips to say "Save my show?" Trips smiles down to Vince and says "No." But there is really nothing I can add you guys haven't except after being a wrestling fan for 30 plus years I have NEVER seen anything like that, ever. Holy fuck.

I just want to say that I love you all. You're all awesome wrestling fans and this was a fucking MONSTER of a show. So many good vibes from this fucking thing. My brain is still scattershot trying to recall the night. There were some GREAT little things in there too, like Graves mentioning MOTHERFUCKING KAWADA~! Holy shit. What else, I mean, I'm not sure what else to say about Nak vs Zayn other than it was perfect. While Joe vs. Finn wasn't perfect and that finish wasn't what I had in mind, it was still a great match. I was initially annoyed and pissed about the stoppages, but like you all said, it actually added to the insanity and gave us a match where Joe and Finn just fucking dropped bombs on each other. One of the slaps from Joe to Finn's head looked like it slapped all of the sweat out of Finn's hair. It was a really cool visual. Man, the Fight Forever chant. Put THAT on a t-shirt. I will buy it. Fuck yeah. Fight Forever! Ugh, it's just so hard to think or say much, but it was all awesome.

Maybe it's lingering bitterness from MM, but so much of Bayley's offense pisses me off and kills my suspension of disbelief. Asuka had to stand in the corner for an eternity so she could get her inflatable dude pose in. I was fully expecting and hoping for an elbow or kick counter but nope. The finish was excellent but Bayley taking it to Asuka early on was something I just wasn't buying at all after they've built up Asuka as a murderer and Bayley almost always fights from underneath against strong opposition. There were some moments of hesitation and awkwardness too, but nothing too dramatic. The crowd was kind of burned out from the wonders that they just beheld.

2) The heel announcer is Corey Graves. He was on the indie scene for years and was on NXT before concussions ended his in-ring career. His gimmick was an edgy punk-type dude. 5) NXT Woman's Division has been THE story in wrestling the past year. You really need to catch up on all of it. If you aren't familiar, there was a "core four" group dubbed The Four Horsewomen who were rivals/partners/etc. for their run. This was Bayley, who you saw tonight; Becky Lynch, a former indie darling who returned from injuries; Charlotte, who is Ric Flair's daughter; and Sasha Banks, who is "The Boss" and has a Nikki Manaj-type gimmick. We'll all argue about who is better than who, but all four churned out some seriously great matches. Sasha Banks and Bayley had a match at NXT's Takeover in Brooklyn that tore the house down. They then had a rematch at the next Takeover that was the main event. It was a 30-minute Ironwoman match. We've spent all year essentially arguing what was the MOTY between those two and Sasha/Becky Lynch from a few months before those two. And by MOTY, I don't mean just for women. I mean for all of wrestling. They are THAT good. Becky, Sasha and Charlotte were brought up to Raw as past of the "Divas Revolution." There were some misfires and hits with their arrival, but overall, the women's division on Raw hs improved dramatically since their arrival. Those three are in a three-way match at WrestleMania. Bayley stayed down at NXT. She's had some really great matches against some very green workers. But all four are awesome wrestlers. You owe yourself a binge watch to go back and watch what they were able to do. NXT in general is just great but the women really make it special.

You know damn well Mania won't have shit on this show.

Nakamura's kickout from the Blue Thunder Bomb was about as close as it fucking gets to 3.

Man I don't even like that Nak shirt but I might buy it anyway just because I'm drunk on hype.
