Zero
Bjorn yet again owns the angry Bellator haters, what an awesome fight. I'm ready for IV!
epwar
LOL, Bjorn is going to pretend Daniel Straus doesn't even exist after this.
TheVileOne
Good fight and all, but how does it own the haters? Since the fight was a great fight and a close war, does Straus not deserve a rematch now based on the Bellator rules?
Zero
Huh? cause when this match was announced basically everybody crapped on it, Bjorn said Pitbull is next, and Straus will get winner.
TheVileOne
People crapped on it because Pitbull got ignored after Curran lost a one-sided decision. And Bellator is the promotion that says title shots are earned not given. Bjorn Rebney says they don't let matchmaking decide title fights. epwar
Not only did Pitbull get ignored, but a second tournament winner in Frodo also got leap frogged.
keith_h
Not only did Pitbull get ignored, but a second tournament winner in Frodo also got leap frogged. Isn't Frodo having visa issues that prevent him from getting into the US or Canada?
epwar
That is the official line, but I don't believe anything Bjorn says after that Vegh situation.
TheVileOne
Thing about the Bellator tournament is that no fighter wants to do it again after they won the title. Another part of why the model is flawed.
Elsalvajeloco
Looking where you punch is an important aspect of striking in combat sports.
epwar
And another nasty KO just gets added to Bellator's night. Ref not a fan of the Caveman gimmick?
Elsalvajeloco
I should point out that I heard Rickels' corner shout out that Rickels should just walk through his punches because Patricky had nothing. I guess left hooks don't apply to this bullshit cornerman theory.
smitlick
Finally watching Glory 14...Holy shit Kirias comeback against Ristie was crazy.. Ristie dominated 4 Rnds and then gets Knocked Out. Great stuff from Kiria. Ristie just seemed to gas.
Zero
Cyborg just lost a helluva fight in MT.
Elsalvajeloco
I will say this about Cris. The two knees that Jorina Baars got her with would sleep any girl in MMA/boxing/kickboxing/ShootBoxing. Cris can take some punishment.
Zero
Yeah, Cyborg was relentless. She kept moving foward. People online already saying Ronda smashes her now. Sometimes I hate the internet.
Guest Edwin
Ronda won't smash Cyborg per se, but I've never had any doubt and I didn't need to see Baars kneeing and spinkicking Cyborg to think Ronda would beat her.
epwar
WSOF had some good fights tonight. No joke, I went into the kitchen for like 3 minutes and somehow missed Carl vs. Palhares.
Lawful Metal
Eddie Bravo v. Royler Gracie at Metamoris 3 was the slickest most awesome jiu-jitsu I've ever seen. Jesus Christ.

OSJ
Am I the only one surprised that Minakov didn't knock him out? Kongo's ability to take a beating was pretty impressive.
Elsalvajeloco
You're definitely not but Kongo is by far the best guy on his resume. Minakov's instincts in that fight were atrocious.

Zero
Holm won with a 5th Round TKO last night, after a nasty headkick. She broke her arm sometime in the fight as well.
