AxB
A streamed game, in which everyone plays a Kobold. And not in the sense of having to take it as their race/heritage and then choosing their class. They're playing the base 1/8 CR Kobolds (with infinite respawns) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrdhz52wrDw

Contentious C
If I had a million dollars to spare, I'd: - Riker my way into my chair (I'm nearly as tall as him anyway) - Spend the entire game trying to flirt with Deborah Ann Woll - Prove I know absolutely nothing about Star Trek Seems like a good way to blow a mil for charity. AxB
https://www.gameinformer.com/2024/05/14/the-art-of-the-new-dungeons-dragons The first real good article previewing the new 2024 edition main rulebooks. Although mostly it's about the art in the books. The Unicorn is totally dead Ha Ha.
tbarrie
I just Googled "When in 1974 was D&D first published?" and it seems it was late January. I missed the birthday party!

SirFozzie
So, going to be a busy buying season for me in the next few months: Â July-August: Starfinder 2nd Edition playtest, PF2E remake Player Core 2, Deadpool Plays the Marvel RPG, X-Men Expansion (Marvel RPG) September: D&D New Edition PHB
jaedmc
I've got a group I've been running D&D for over the last few years and I don't think any of them really care about moving on to the next edition. From what I've been told the new edition is still very compatible with 5e, but none of my players really talk about it. I think there's a sense of just "let's stick with what's working."
Death From Above
I'm honestly pretty surprised they're rolling out 6th considering the mass commercial success of 5th. It's not nearly as crazy as Warhammer 40K rolling out a new edition every 3 years, but it's still wild to me.
SirFozzie
well, it's more like 5.25 edition.. Everything that came before for 5th is still valid. It's just changing a bunch of things about how some of the classes work..
Death From Above
Hopefully INT won't be a dump stat anymore for literally every class but Wizard?

Also, it's been ten years since the 5E rules came out. I believe that's the longest D&D has ever gone without a revision to the main rulebooks. AxB
So thanks to D&D Beyonds mishandling of the jump from 2014 5e to 2024 5e, you can now create this Multiclass: My friend, he made a 12th level Rogue/Rogue, that has proficiency in literally every skill, and 7 expertises.
