BobbyWhioux Posted December 15, 2019 Posted December 15, 2019 Carr slides feet first in bounds, refs stop clock anyway. Penalize the Raiders for delay of game. Almost wouldn't be right for the last game in the Oakland Coliseum to not have a bad call/failed rule application go against them
RIPPA Posted December 15, 2019 Posted December 15, 2019 Assuming the results hold (and it would take a miracle for them not to) The Rams would need to win out and the Vikings would need to lose out for the Rams to make the playoffs
Dolfan in NYC Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 The Raiders leaving the field to a chorus of boos is the most Oakland thing ever. 1

They weren't booing the Raiders, but that bullshit call on Carr's first down. I guess we wouldn't be the Oakland Raiders if the league didn't try and find a way to fuck us.
Kuetsar Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 The last few seconds of this SF-ATL game has been nuts. . . 2
BobbyWhioux Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 "We fucked up, Atlanta scored before the last play of the game! Overturn their TD so they can score on the next play"
BobbyWhioux Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Just now, Kuetsar said: The last few seconds of this SF-ATL game has been nuts. . . Exposing The Business
Hail Sabin Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 That it has! I was pretty sure the Hooper TD would get reversed and Live thought Julio Had scored! 1
BobbyWhioux Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Matt Jackson Northern Lights-ing two people at once is more realistic than the last three plays of ATL@SF "Oh shit, we forgot about covering the spread! Quick, fumble the kickoff!" 2
BobbyWhioux Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 The first ATL TD should not have been overturned btw. That was just the pre-Dusty finish to set up the actual Dusty finish on the next play. The color analyst gave away that the 49ers booking is "only lose on the last play" so they overturned the first one for being too early. If this was a Superstars taping they'd have just edited it out. 2 2
Niners Fan in CT Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 niners have definitely been either playing up to the comp or down to it... at least the Rams lost clinched a playoff berth 1
hammerva Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Yeah this has been a bowling shoe ugly game. Not sure if this is great defense by two or just some awful turnovers by both teams. The next dumb mistake will cost this game

Great defense, but both QB's (especially Hodges) have played poorly as a result.

Gonzo Posted December 16, 2019 Author Posted December 16, 2019 Four playoff spots have been decided in each conference: AFC - Baltimore (AFC North champs), Kansas City (AFC West champs), New England, Buffalo Houston wins the AFC South with a win next week against Tampa Bay. The other Wild Card spot will likely go to either Pittsburgh or Tennessee. Buffalo still has a shot to win the AFC East, but they have to win out while New England loses out. Buffalo and New England play on Saturday, and the Patriots have Miami in Week 17 while the Bills play the Jets. NFC - New Orleans (NFC South champs), Green Bay, Seattle, San Francisco Dallas can win the NFC Trash Fire East with a win over Philadelphia this week. Minnesota is in with either one win or one Rams loss. The Vikings can still win the NFC North, but they have to win out while Green Bay loses out. Minnesota and Green Bay play on Monday night, Minnesota has Chicago in Week 17 and the Packers play at Detroit. The NFC West is likely coming down to Week 17 when the Seahawks and Niners play again in San Francisco.
Gonzo Posted December 16, 2019 Author Posted December 16, 2019 Also, the race for the #1 pick appears to pretty much be decided at this point, thanks to the Giants winning on Sunday. Cincinnati Bengals (1-13, .565) New York Giants (3-11, .473) Miami Dolphins (3-11, .493) Washington (3-11, .493) Detroit Lions (3-10-1, .507) Arizona Cardinals (4-9-1, .540) New York Jets (5-9, .473) Jacksonville Jaguars (5-9, .475) Los Angeles Chargers (5-9, .504) Denver Broncos (5-9, .527) Carolina Panthers (5-9, .545) Atlanta Falcons (5-9, .559) I'm not sure what the next tiebreaker down between Miami and Washington is, but after the next couple of games it likely won't matter anyway.

Cincy has two win BOTH their games and one of the 3 win teams (Giants, Skins, Fins) need to lose twice. The Giants and Skins play each other this week so the winner of that game is eliminated Obviously not out of the realm of possibility but the Bengals have a little cushion. What is more likely to keep Burrow out of Cincy is Mike Brown is stupid 1 1
Dolfan in NYC Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 Cincy is playing Miami next weekend and Miami's got the Pats - playing for home field throughout - in Week 17, so they ain't winning that. However, the Bengals are playing the Brownies in Week 17, who will either be "PLAYING FOR HONOR~" or "playing to save Kitchens' job (lol)" I'm just saying, don't book the flights to CVG just yet. 1
hammerva Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 (edited) I would think the Bengals would really screw things up by drafting Chase Young under the "well he is from Ohio State and the locals will love the pick" concept. Fuck is Fields eligible for the draft? Edited December 16, 2019 by hammerva 1
