AxB Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 Johnny Ace did learn to ride his Skateboard eventually. If you watch the full shows of Flair's 1989 classic matches, there's a Dynamic Dudes match where he skates down the ramp. Shane Douglas never learned though. He always just carried his.
Ryan Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 That's an amazing spot, dammit. Considering Darby's former life as a pro skater, it makes perfect sense to use it as a weapon. 5

I can't dig it, having used to skate (poorly) and cringing at the idea of getting a pair of trucks across the back like that. Ugh. UGH. Nope.
Tromatagon Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 (edited) You know the board is covered in thumbtacks and has no trucks or wheels every other time he does it, right? I think the trucks hurt too much that time. He stopped. Edited September 2, 2019 by Tromatagon 1

That makes way more sense, I was going off the pic, which was from just the other night so maybe it's not something he always does but Janela got the wheels and trucks. Now, that could be on Janela insisting since homeboy doesn't want to walk by 45... Not huge on much death match stuff anyhow, especially since Allin doesn't need it.
Tromatagon Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 (edited) That pic is from an older PWG show and wasn't the spot from Saturday in AEW Edited September 2, 2019 by Tromatagon
COLETTI Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 Dude definitely used trucks and wheels at All Out. 1

Tromatagon Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 I stand corrected. Ditch the trucks so the tacks stick more, fuck. 3
Ryan Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 Stomp the board in half and gouge the guy's eye until he quits. Darby's rag doll do anything style works since he's fairly small. Can't feel too good to take some of the bumps he does...
Ryan Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 Just watching it back, it's not even remotely as dangerous as the image makes it look. He let the board land on him before planting his feet in the middle, so it wouldn't dig into him. I pasted a GIF in that thread. https://media.giphy.com/media/ieDX1rnEh7ReKqGRDX/giphy.gif

odessasteps Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 (edited) I did not know until fairly recently Bob Orton Sr also wrestled as The Zodiac at times. Edited September 3, 2019 by odessasteps
Curt McGirt Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 Did any of them ever rip off the supposed look of the actual Zodiac Killer?
