Cobra Commander
Wrestling on YouTube with less concussions than Taker/Mankind 98 WCW Main Event (6/30/1991): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IFzJH6K8NOQ Missy has words for Lady Blossom. PN News and Carl Nelson have hairstyles. Jim Ross hypes a card in Macon, GA for July 1st where WCW fires Ric Flair and strips him of the title. Paul E runs down the card for Bash 91 including at least two matches about to change. Jim Ross spelling it out by noting Johnny B. Badd and Little Richard are both from Macon. Johnny B. Badd beat Razor Ruddock, Jim Ross saw it on a tape so it's true. JOIN RIC FLAIR ON A TRIP ON THE BRUISE CRUISE (nope!). Man, a cruise with 1991 Ric Flair would have probably fucked up your liver. Ric Flair is on the Danger Zone and man does his hair kinda suck at this time. Ric Flair has the same number of World Titles as Nolan Ryan has no-hitters. Ric Flair looks like the angriest officeworker in America during this segment. DDP is searching the country for a personal valet to take off Scott Hall's pants. That release Northern Lights-ish suplex is nasty. Keith Hart with a nice flip for the Diamond Death Drop. The Desperadoes are at a campfire and they could have been searching for Stan Hansen if they weren't in jail recently. "We need to make our lives useful" says a guy whose gimmick involves searching for a wrestler that doesn't want to work with them. Big Daddy Dink is WCW's answer to Sam Kinison somehow. Richard Morton has walked out on his partners in this Six Man Tag title match. Badstreet's mask looks like he's working with a plastic bag on his head. We'll see Beautiful Bobby vs Stunning Steve on the Power Hour (which probably should tell you that Z-Man's not winning the TV title here). Do not call Dr. James Andrews, Wrestling fans (that means some of them called). Jim Ross' radio show isn't on tonight because of the Braves. Austin just milking the time limit. We go to a boring time limit draw as Austin is in the "sleep hold" because apparently Jim Ross is mimicking a World Class announcer.
RazorbladeKiss87
I see your Main Event and raise you a Power Hour from 6/22/1991. https://youtu.be/fbKFOoq44Ig?si=2rv6Xwhuv1jk4RtB My only real comment is that they showed PN News' "Bash Rap" twice in an hour. Brutal. Edit: As soon as I posted this, the man himself came out to showcase his incredible lack of rhythm. I can't even enjoy PN News in a so bad it's good sense. Cobra Commander
It’s possible that PN News misrepresented his rap skills to get the job. Also possible that giving the rap gimmick to a guy who gets winded walking was a bad idea. Now if they had given the rap gimmick to Marc Mero and the Little Richard gimmick to PN News… okay probably not much changes. Sable probably doesn’t marry Paul Neu.

Cobra Commander
WWF All-Star Wrestling (7/6/1985): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_RiQeTs4Go Join Jack Reynolds and Jesse the Body. Hear Jack just saying names during the intro so Jesse can talk about them. Rick Hunter takes a back body drop in an interesting way. They sure did love using music that they almost certainly weren't paying for. Jack Reynolds is confused by Jimmy Hart's megaphone. We're very obviously in some sort of gym since you can see the floor markings. Greg Valentine drops a jobguy on his head with a form of a Tombstone Piledriver. Jack calls the "Manager of the Year" voting the "Man of the Year" voting. Freddie Miller is around to tell us about the impending King of the Ring tournament at Sullivan Stadium in Foxboro. Greg Valentine pledges to break the King of the Ring trophy if he wins it. Freddie notes the card will happen rain or shine and I heard from John McAdam that it was hellish to be at that card. BEEE THERE. Interesting criss-cross spot where the heel job guys are the ones to do a tag during a criss-cross with the Killer Bees. Brian Blair sells an eyerake for longer than i've ever seen someone sell an eyerake. Cool finish with Brunzell jumping over Blair to bodypress a guy for the win. Iron Sheik talks about the prejudiced people of Boston/Providence who are chanting USA. Sheik saying "Massachusetts" like it's a French word. An amazing Terry Funk graphic ("He's So Funky"). Guessing this Sullivan Stadium KOTR show did not make up for the money that Billy Sullivan lost on the Jackson Victory Tour. Not sure Funk and Jim Powers were on the same page for the neckbreaker. Terry Funk wins a match with the spinning toe hold! Despite what I typed earlier, the building in Brantford was a Civic Centre, despite the floor markings. Hillbilly Jim joins Jesse the Body on the Body Shop. Jim is injured so he's bringing Uncle Elmer into the WWF. The Spider Lady is in action! "Wendi Richter better watch out for the Spider Lady" - yeah i'd say. Spider Lady was pretty obviously not Moolah on that night. A 2 Hour videocassette of Wrestlemania, only $39.95! Brantford not happy with Nikolai singing the Soviet anthem. Nikolai trying to do a doubleteam camel clutch reminding me of the Yeti and the Giant doing a double-bearhug. Nikolai Volkoff takes off his shirt to show us how big his arms are as he talks about Hulk Hogan and war between America and Russia.
Cobra Commander
CWA Championship Wrestling, Evansville Edition (7/8/1989): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zcBdBqctjzQ Action Jackson isn't here. Billy Travis blades and the Wild Side wins the belts on a blood stoppage. Local promos for the card at Riverside Downs. Dutch Mantel vs Chilly B Cool. Dustin Rhodes vs the Dirty White Boy. Ricky Morton and Bill Dundee vs The DI and Doug Gilbert. Freddy vs the Master of Pain. Black Bart vs Jeff Jarrett. Wild Side vs Travis/Jackson, loser leaves town. Jerry Lawler and Bam Bam Bigelow vs Iceman King Parsons and Brickhouse Brown. A 20 man battle royal for $5000. This Wednesday Night at Riverside Downs. Chilly B. Cool, a big fan of the rap. Chilly B. Cool insists that they keep "Funky Cold Medina" playing during his match. Man Chilly B. Cool's promo sucks. The DI yells at Ricky Morton to grow up and Ricky eats a 2 on 1 beating. DI and Doug Gilbert win a squash. Bart and Dirty White Boy win a squash. Black Bart is our champ. Dustin Rhodes is imitating his dad. DWB and Black Bart have words for Dustin. Take a look of Ronnie P. Gossett taking on Plowboy Frazier, Jerry Lawler, and Bam Bam Bigelow 1 on 3 Kerry Von Erich gets a squash match! A local promo by Nightmare Freddy! Riverside Downs is in Henderson, Kentucky, or was. The trio of Ricky Morton, Nightmare Freddy, and Dustin Rhodes! Master of Pain promo for his upcoming match with Freddy. Freddy being a Memphis monster has the power of fireballs. Ronnie P. Gossett promo from his hospital bed! Action Jackson blamed his lateness on an accident on the expressway in a segment that was cut out of the Evansville show.
