Lance Pugmire posted a video of the media talking with Novitzky and Dana after the Contender series episode ended tonight and from Novitzky's explanation, it sounded like it would be two years and not four. He also talked about mitigating and aggravating circumstances which allows USADA to reduce or extend a sanction based on the circumstances involved. The latter would an athlete going out of their way to clearly beat the system before ultimately failing to do so. The former would be the stuff we've seen with tainted supplements or any tampering etc. However, they can't decide on any of that until the process unfolds. So for right now, there is no one size fits all penalty or action until they figure out what happened and whether Jones and his team will or won't contest the potential doping violation.
