All this kind of lends credence to the rumors that Glenn Robinson just paid some big names a bunch of money to come and train and be labeled as a "Blackzilian" to give the stable legitimacy.  Then all their fighters started losing all their big fights.

I think he brought some of the wrong elements to be on the team. Look at what Ted Ehrhardt did with Team Takedown. Roller turned into a bust and Jake Rosholt isn't the best Rosholt brother. Eric Bradley went to jail and got kicked off. Shit happens. But then it ultimately paid off with bringing in Steven Wright to help Hendricks.

Guillard can't stay with one gym, and Overeem has always done his own thing since the SF/Zuffa/Golden Glory debacle. Now that the team has kinda turned it around and their guys are winning, Overeem decides to leave. I can definitely see where Rashad is coming from. All teams go through a trial and error phase.

I'm going to put together a list of fighters with the least impressive resumes to receive a title shot in the TUF era. I think number one has to be Babalu (Wiuff, "I'm gassing against Terry Martin " era Chael, Van Arsdale) if not Moraga (Cariaso and Gomez).

Nick Diaz when he fought GSP coming off a loss to Carlos Condit and Chael Sonnen when he fought Jon Jones coming off a loss to Anderson Silva are up there in recent times.

Vitor Belfort when he fought Jon Jones could possibly be up there too since he had only beaten Yoshihiro Akiyama and Anthony Johnson before getting the title shot against Jones in a higher weight class than what he fought at in both of those fights.

Vitor's shot isn't as bad as Nick or Chael's shots though.

Those are good picks but I was more or less thinking UFC career composite (although that definitely still doesn't help Diaz).

In Belfort's defense, Johnson was 197 lbs for that fight.  Johnson then fought as high as heavyweight outside the UFC and is returning as a light heavyweight.

For those of you not watching TUF Brazil 3, a clip from the ep. 4:

Cara de Sapato TKO'd Edgard Castaldelli in less than 20 seconds of round 1.

Team Wanderlei has beaten Team Chael in every competition until this point.

Vladimir Matyushenko has decided to hang them up and following his loss to Joey Beltran at Bellator 116 officially retiring after the fight.

I hope a lot of the older fighters on a downward spiral like the Matyushenko can take notes before it's a little to late.

Wednesday’s K.J. Noons vs. Sam Stout contest will no longer be contested at lightweight but rather at 170 pounds.

MMAjunkie today confirmed the switch to the TUF Nations Finale bout following an initial tweet reporting the possibility by SportsNet’s “Showdown” Joe Ferraro.

“The lightweight bout originally scheduled between Sam Stout and KJ Noons has been changed to a welterweight contest,” reads a statement issued by the UFC. “The fighters approached the UFC to request the change in weight class, and it was subsequently approved by both the UFC and the Quebec athletic commission, the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux.”

Noons and Stout meet on the FOX Sports 1-televised preliminary card of Wednesday’s TUF Nations Finale event at Colisee Pepsi in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. The bouts follow additional prelims on UFC Fight Pass and precede a five-fight main card on FOX Sports 1.

Noons (12-7 MMA, 1-1 UFC) looks to build on the strength of a much-needed October win over George Sotiropoulos. The 31-year-old last fought at 170 pounds in 2010, when he challenged for Strikeforce’s 170-pound belt but came up short in a rematch with Nick Diaz.

Meanwhile, Stout (20-9-1 MMA, 9-8 UFC) has been a UFC mainstay since 2006 and has fought all 17 if his octagon appearances at 155 pounds.

Additional requests for clarification by UFC officials as to whether the initial idea to change divisions came from Noons or Stout were not immediately returned.

So, who's shocked that Sonnen and Silva got into a fight because someone was a dick.

Ok, who's surprised it was SILVA being a dick and not Sonnen?

Not really surprised at all.

If you've been following this season of TUF Brazil, it'd be expect for Wanderlei to act like that. He's looked like a complete fool the entire season since he created unnecessary childish drama after threatening to boycott the show if Chael didn't apologize to him.

I doubt he would pulled that stunt in the Las Vegas version. He can only get away with that behavior because the fighters from both teams are like, "well, that's Wanderlei." If he had mostly Americans on his team, all the fighters would have turned against him. Chael is actually doing a good job coaching during the training sessions and passes on good technical information. But his fighters just stink outright. So that gives the illusion that Wanderlei is a better coach.

TUF last night was pretty comical. The quality of talent was embarrassing, even by TUF standards. Cathal Pendred getting a by was very transparent. Dana claiming he had no idea who Lyman a Good was, but then shit all over him and Bellator once he lost. Good getting matched up with the strongest wrestler in the house was no coincidence. Jake Heun getting another shot at the TUF house, only to get embarrassed again.

The nerdy bald guy Doug Sparks stole the Mac from Always Sunny "cultivating mass" line. You would think that Dana would appreciate the cross promotion, but nope. As soon as he got beat, he got buried like a WCW Saturday Night jobber.

Dana, Frankie and BJ calling Jake Heun a beast when he was all over the guy he fought before he got caught in an armbar and tapped out was good stuff.

Dana and Ian Stephens taking shots at Bellator was hilarious. I hope Stephens loses or is a one dimensional wrestler who constantly puts on boring fights to see what he'll do once they cut him.

It's also ironic that Dana always craps on fighters who shoot for takedowns immediately and don't do much else, yet he's loving Stephens because he took shots at Bellator.

Even better:  There's 2 guys on the same season of TUF who were made fun of in their childhood because of their freckles!
