RIPPA
Fucking Hell I wanted no part of Chapman - and that isn't even factoring in the abuse stuff
Nice Guy Eddie
According to Jack Curry of the YES network, Brian Cashman called Andrew Miller and told him they plan to keep him. I love this deal as long as Miller, Betances, and Chapman are kept together.
RIPPA
Well when Chapman gets suspended for half the season it is meaningless
Nice Guy Eddie
If it's a 50 game suspension, he doesn't become a free agent after 2016. None of the talking heads on MLB network feel like it's going to be a long suspension.
Serious Darius Bagfelt
The Blue Jays lead the league in payroll when they won the world series...20+ years ago... Back when a 48-50 million dollar payroll was outrageous and guys would sign a 2-3 year deal

Joe Lucia
MLB.tv is offering single team packages next season. No word on cost yet, but I assume it'll be like $80-$100. Keep in mind, the blackout rules are still in effect, so if you're in Iowa or Vegas, don't get happy. But if you're like, a Tigers fan in Washington (hey Tabe!), this is ideal. Or was that just for the NFL?Edit: Just looked all the FCC did is repeal there rules on blackouts.
Joe Lucia
Two different types of blackouts, one related to attendance and one related to territories.

Tabe
Nats are giving Stephen Drew $3 million dollars. Sure... why not... LOL. They couldn't find a guy making the minimum in their system that would hit .190 for them?

grilledcheese
And the all LHP rotation is now a thing!! Well, until McCarthy comes back in July or so. Kind of a weird deal, but whatever. I don't give a shit which side the ball comes off, as long as these dudes get outs.
Ryan
Stupid baseball trivia I just thought up and then found the answer to. Who in the history of MLB has the most career wins without making a single start? Hint: He's modern and even won a cy young. I'm pretty sure he was fairly well known. Kyle Casey
Sutter?
Joe Lucia
That is a good ass question. Sutter is the answer, but I never would have guessed him. Here's another - when he's induced in two (or three, whatever) years, who will be the first Hall of Famer without a hit in his career?
RIPPA
Mariano  But it is kinda hard to have a hit when you have like only something like 3 ABs
Ryan
Actually, it's Sparky Lyle. 99-76, 0 Games Started. Sutter was 68-71. 2nd was Kent Tekulve with 94 wins and 3rd was John Franco with 90.

Ryan
Could be worse, Goose Gossage leads for all time blown saves at 112, but that's a totally different era when it wasn't a specialty position and they'd go longer, so your odds were way higher of blowing it.
