Sublime
Speaking of that - both Sublime and Ross need tiebreakers too Thanks for the catch -- I edited my post to include a tiebreaker. Yes, thanks Rippa
JRGoldman
Thanks as always for doing this. It's a blast for Hillary and I to go through the movies together and try and put together the lists. It was really hard this year. In previous years we've had clear ideas going in (and done poorly) but this year nothing stood out. Anyway, here are the lists: Box Office: 1. Avengers 2. Minions 3. Jurassic World 4. Trainwreck 5. Mad Max 6. Mission Impossible 7. Spy 8. Terminator 9. Man From UNCLE 10. Fantastic Four 11. Ted 2 12. Ant Man 13. Aloha 14. Hot Pursuit 15. Entourage Rotten Tomatoes: 1. Mad Max 2. Mission Impossible 3. Aloha 4. Tomorrowland 5. Minions 6. Trainwreck 7. Avengers 8. Man From UNCLE 9. Spy 10. Ant Man 11. Hot Pursuit 12. Ted 2 13. Terminator 14. Entourage 15. Pixels Tie Breaker: Avengers: 600,000,
RIPPA
Well of you are going to include Avengers on your list, you have about 6 hours to do it

S.K.o.S.
Okay, everything's in the spreadsheet. We're at 20 entrants so I need to add THE TWO FACES OF JANUARY and HONEYMOON to the prize pool. Now to put together my lists...
Elsalvajeloco
You want the Honeymoon prize merely based on the fact Rose Leslie has to play a woman from "Brooklyn" for almost 90 minutes. I know the editor was like, "What...the fuck?"

_MJ_
I like your box office list, S.K.o.S. Well outside of Mad Max, which I avoided like the plague. I figured The Man From U.N.C.L.E., Straight Outta Compton, Entourage, and Hot Pursuit are going to be at the bottom too, but I had a tough time rationalizing what order to put them in. Very tough. I took some risks with my RT list and put Trainwreck, Tomorrowland, and The Man From U.N.C.L.E. near the top. I don't know. I like their trailers. There is usually one comedy that overachieves each summer and I'm hoping it's Trainwreck this year. Tomorrowland looks like it's suppose to be good, but sometimes those films try too hard and bomb with critics. I just like The Man From UNCLE trailer. No big explanation there. It showed me that Henry Cavill has some charisma. Those movies will make or break my RT list.
Hail Sabin
Crap now that I know what Pixels is I think it's going to bite me in the ass on the box office list.
RIPPA
Now that the US reviews are coming in - Avengers is at 75% Fresh right now. Sadly some years - that is still good enough for a Top 3 spot
Chaos
As is usually the case, I did not think about this until today. I will post an entry tonight.
_MJ_
I put Hot Pursuit at #13 on my Rotten Tomatoes' list and that still wasn't low enough. We might already have the worst of the summer in early May.
Paco
Yeah, I thought Hot Pursuit was an easy #15 for my RT list...and I was right! I'm so happy right now!
S.K.o.S.
I had it higher on my RT list than anyone else, at 9th. That's a kick in the shorts! Reese Witherspoon has like 35+ movies rated on RT, with no shortage of stinkers, and Hot Pursuit is her lowest ever right now.
RIPPA
I still think Pixels could be lower
Hail Sabin
Ah crap I have Hot Pursuit at 9 so it will be a race between Pixels and Hot Pursuit which one screws me more.
Death From Above
I still think Pixels could be lower Pixels is a hilarious concept in the hands of the completely wrong man. Oh well.

S.K.o.S.
Those trash journalism hacks at the Daily Mirror just ruined Mad Max's 100% on RT. Boooooo! It's now at 97% with 35 reviews.
RIPPA
I'm so glad I left it off my list as I had zero clue where to put it
_MJ_
I had to do some jiujitsu but I kept Mad Max off both of my lists. I thought the trailer looked pretty decent, but the production delays and the gossip about actors/actresses on set kept me away. Looking at a few people's lists, most posters actually seem to rate it high, but I see a few people who have it ranked low. Tomorrowland is going to be the movie that screws me if it bombs with the critics. My day comes next week.
Paco
I was gonna gloat at my putting Mad Max high up at #3 RT. But then I saw a couple of you put it at #1. Well played.
S.K.o.S.
It's a small sample size, but my facebook feed indicates Mad Max is gonna get a box office bump from women going to see it specifically in retaliation to whatever "men's rights activists" said they didn't like the strong female characters. I dunno. Audience reaction from the people who have seen it sounds extremely positive.

RIPPA
For some reason I am still amused that only 114 people bothered to review Hot Pursuit And yes - I still think someone can go lower than 6% Of course - for the record, Paul Blart 2 - the movie that for the longest while was at 0% - is also at 6% But I have a faith that if someone can making a <6% movie - that someone is Adam Sandler
