I was actually looking at their website last night, and thinking the game looks more or less up my alley (although lord I wish whoever the fuck owns it now would make a PS4 Ogre Battle game...) and now this, I'm almost completely onboard.

 

Especially since that gives me more time to get through the other games I have.

 

Seriously of all the nonsense that has come through Kickstarter and Steam Greenlight how are none of them "Ogre Battle by any other name"? Straight up bullshit.

 

The SNES game remains an all-time favourite, though the N64 one is certainly very good.

Ogre Battle 64 is my single favorite game ever. March of the Black Queen was pretty great too.

For what looks like another 24 hours you can buy The Witcher 3 PC download for $53.99.  An apology of some sorts maybe?

It's 50 bucks on GOG if you already have Witcher 2.  Cheaper with both witchers.

Season 2 of Pinball Arcade FINALLY hits PS4 on 12/23. I will probably buy it with money.

I'm debating whether to buy it or not.  I've soured on Farsight, big-time, with the PS4 version of TPA.  Not sure I want to give them more money when there's so much stuff that's just fundamentally f'ed up with the PS4 version.  I mean, basic stuff like not letting you use the analog sticks for menu selections and the awful sound quality.  And non-functional leaderboards for your friends.

In a move that no one really wanted, DmC Definitive Edition has been announced with a March 17th, 2015 release date for PS4 & Xbox One.

 

But the better news is DMC4 Special Edition is coming to PS4 in the summer. So basically you'll be able to earn a Platinum on DMC4 for the first time.

What surprises me is that the Telltale Minecraft game is not Xbox 360/Xbox One exclusive since....you know Microsoft owns Mojang and all.

I miss the days when Telltale were a tiny studio cranking out Sam and Max games. I don't begrudge them their success, but the properties that got me interested are no longer financially viable when there's Walking Dead/Game of Thrones money on the table.
