Fat Spanish Waiter
@ Carolina is going to be unpleasant Well, that's Playoffs though. Carolina are a fraud, I wouldn't worry.
Ryan
At least Carolina is a mirror image and will be in warmer weather. They will be very tough as well but I'm happy for them to get out of that "shit hole" haha.. You'll pay for that, although I do agree with you and I live here.
ivpvideos
Congrats to the 49ers. Hell of a game, tough fight. Proud of the Packers for making it in the playoffs when they had no business being there. Until next year! Oh yeah this tweet @RealSkipBayless: If Tom Brady had been Green Bay's quarterback today, Green Bay would've won.
Ryan
Was he going to play defense on the final drive too?
Brian Fowler
Was he going to play defense on the final drive too? IF THAT'S WHAT IT TOOK~! But, no, seriously, I guess the argument would be that maybe the Pack would have scored more points? I guess? Or that Brady just has magic winning powers? Ryan
Brady would have gotten sacked even more behind our shitty patch-work offensive line. Rodgers got out of like 3 sacks himself.
Lamp, broken circa 1988
Fox just showed the slow mo of the kick and it went right through a Packer defender's arms. That close to a blocked kick. also I know so little about football and sports media that I usually just lurk in these threads, but come on, why are you trying to think about a thing skip bayless has said
Josh Mann
Anyone who watched that game and didn't see that in the second half Rodgers almost singlehandedly beat the 49ers is either trolling or a moron. Forget it, it's Baylesstown.
_MJ_
In order for the 49ers to get the Super Bowl, they are probably going to have to run throw a NFC gauntlet. Packers, Panthers, and maybe the Seahawks. All on the road.
Death From Above
They are the only team that I think could believably do that. Not sure anyone gets through Seattle though.
BobbyWhioux
Well, if the Saints manage to do what they completely failed to do in the regular season and defeat the Seahawks in Seattle, the 49ers would actually have a chance to host the NFC Championship Game if they in turn beat Carolina. Of course, while we're talking dream scenarios, I'd like to win the lottery too.
Josh Mann
History shows that if a team loses on the road and has to go back there for the playoffs that it goes the other way more than you think. I'm not saying the Saints are absolutely going to win but they have a decided puncher's chance.
Burgundy LaRue
Fox just showed the slow mo of the kick and it went right through a Packer defender's arms. That close to a blocked kick. I don't think it would have counted, though. IIRC, Green Bay was offsides. San Fran would have gotten a second kick.
Stennick
Yeah he was offsides it wouldn't have mattered. They even threw a flag on the play for offsides so yeah it wouldn't have mattered and he was the guy offsides. He wouldn't have gotten so close to blocking it had he not been offsides. RonL21
Colin Kaepernick is averaging 300 passings yards and 100 rushing yards in 3 games vs. the Packers in his career. Crazy stat.

Tabe
I may have nightmares after that Gus Johnson/Bill Raffetry delivering birth commercial. That was easily one of the worst commercials I've ever seen. Awful, awful, awful.
Tabe
Question: So the 49ers burned a timeout to start the second half. If you're in that situation, wouldn't you rather your QB took the delay of game instead of burning the timeout? I mean, isn't 1st and 15 with 14:55 left in the 3rd a lot better than having not enough timeouts late in the 4th?

I mean, isn't 1st and 15 with 14:55 left in the 3rd a lot better than having not enough timeouts late in the 4th? It's part of the Cost Of Doing Business with Kaepernick as the QB. Timeouts get burned like that every game, usually several, it's been happening since he became the starter and at this point it just seems like it's the way it's going to be. As is walking the razor's edge as far as changing plays at the line and almost getting called for Delay Of Game on a regular basis throughout a given game. Though it does, of course, perhaps offer an explanation/illustration of why the 49ers are particularly Non-Competitive when they go to Seattle (which while clearly a difficult place to play for everybody, is also clearly not impossible for other teams in the league. Arizona actually even WON up there).
Tabe
Well, my question wasn't even so much about Kaep. Just in general - if you're the coach, wouldn't you rather eat the 5 yards there?
