Cobra Commander Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 with the first four wrapped up, got 12 hours if your bracket pick of Boise State/Colorado over Florida was just a Boise State over Florida pick but you think Florida beats Colorado
Cobra Commander Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 not sure if this is usually the case but the games with two 16 seeds were better this year than the games with the two 10 seeds.. maybe having two teams fighting it out to win something before they get tossed at a 1 seed is a better kind of competition than two middling at-larges fighting it out also, the Virginia game is such a minus that even if Colorado/Boise State was good, that combo wasn't beating the two 16 games we saw
Brian Fowler Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 More than "did Jordan push off" I always thought the attention should've been on his blatant illegal defense on the steal right before that. He absolutely just stops in the paint and doubles Malone before the entry pass which was illegal in the NBA for another two or three years after that.
Zimbra Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 I hope Dan Monson been spitting in his coffee every time his back is turned.
Cobra Commander Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 I’m sure there’s a bunch of reasons why this won’t happen but Duquesne and Long Beach State playing at the same time gives me the idea of Monson going to Duquesne. I doubt that for a few reasons. Including his age and the distance from the west coast to Pittsburgh. I don’t think coaching at a Catholic school (Gonzaga) necessarily means getting another Catholic school job 25 years later.
Cobra Commander Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 before someone else posts it, I'm pretty sure I just heard that they have a designated successor at Duquesne for next year anyways, Duquesne beats BYU

Zimbra Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 More like the Church of Jesus Christ of LOLterday Saints.

Cobra Commander Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 Sister Jean picking against Tennessee in the first round is some real "104 year old nun does knows better than to expect Rick Barnes to redeem himself" stuff
Cobra Commander Posted March 21, 2024 Posted March 21, 2024 awaiting the findings of the investigation into the 2nd half of Dayton/Nevada by internet gamblers who picked Nevada 1
Cobra Commander Posted March 22, 2024 Posted March 22, 2024 this Texas/Colorado State game makes me think that some teams need to recruit as least one dude who can rebound all the shitty shots that their team shoots
hammerva Posted March 22, 2024 Posted March 22, 2024 (edited) Oakland is having the most insane 3 point shooting game against Kentucky so far. Every time it seems the well is dry they find more Now Kentucky is shooting lights out but Oakland keeps hitting. 15 3 pointers Edited March 22, 2024 by hammerva
Contentious C Posted March 22, 2024 Posted March 22, 2024 Kentucky about to choke it away... couldn't happen to a nicer coach.

Kevin Wilson Posted March 22, 2024 Posted March 22, 2024 Watching Kentucky lose in hilariously early fashion will always bring a smile to my face. 1
Cobra Commander Posted March 22, 2024 Posted March 22, 2024 good news for people who own futures in Kentucky sports talk radio 2
hammerva Posted March 22, 2024 Posted March 22, 2024 Meanwhile so much for that McNeese State being a sleeper March Madness pick
Cobra Commander Posted March 22, 2024 Posted March 22, 2024 Just saying, Zaga in years where they're a little down going into the tournament is a force It's like picking against Izzo or Boeheim in a year when their team didn't deserve to make the tournament
Cobra Commander Posted March 22, 2024 Posted March 22, 2024 guess we'll see on Saturday if KU needing referee help to beat Samford is gonna be ominous for KU/Gonzaga
Brian Fowler Posted March 22, 2024 Posted March 22, 2024 At what point does pressure build to actually think about "suggesting" Calipari "retire"? Cause the title is now a dozen years ago and they haven't gotten out of the first weekend since before COVID.
Cobra Commander Posted March 22, 2024 Posted March 22, 2024 cut to the most insane Kentucky booster needing to be told why they can't fire Calipari to bring back Rick Pitino
