Kuetsar Posted December 26, 2023 Posted December 26, 2023 Josh has FORTY TD's! And not that many more Int's than everyone else. He's the MVP, whether or not he wins it. . .

Everyone was blaming Bieniemy early on for how Howell was seemingly under performing in some games, but then you see how Brissett performs in the same offense and you start to wonder...

Tua and Purdy are supplementary pieces, Lamar is coasting towards a #1 seed, and almost everyone else is injured. Allen and Prescott are the only two who's teams have lived and died based on their performance and they have played at an MVP level. 1

hammerva Posted December 26, 2023 Posted December 26, 2023 I would assume that the Browns have it because when the Ravens were created they didn't really want it even though they couldn't use the Baltimore Colts history

If the new team were called the Ohioans, that might be different. If the Baltimore team had called themselves the Browns, that would definitely be different. Of course, the Baltimore baseball team didn't keep the Browns name, either. But the new team that started in 1999 deliberately called themselves the Browns and kept the colors, the history, and even recently the old elf. 1 1
Brian Fowler Posted December 26, 2023 Posted December 26, 2023 Yeah the NFL basically insists that the Ravens were an expansion team and the Browns just took a few years off. It makes absolutely no sense, drives me insane, but that's what they do. Then have fun untangling who has what history between the pelicans and hornets in the NBA. 2
