I've been struggling the last few weeks. Work is pretty bad. I'm running myself ragged with no help or appreciation. Today is my breaking point. We got a new GM and our new schedule just came out. I'm scheduled for 23 hours. I haven't had less than 30 scheduled since I started. I haven't worked less than 40 since December. When I asked him what's up I was told sales are down and he had to make tough choices. I see our numbers every day. He's lying. He also scheduled a new cook who is barely out of training for thirty hours. I'm going to talk to our district manager tomorrow but I'm probably looking for something else. My mental health is in a bad spot. I'm having major urges to buy a few beers, which will lead to far worse shit. I think I'm going to step away from the board for a while because I'm letting one troll on here really get under my skin and my sobriety isn't worth the enjoyment I get from this place. I'll check back when I'm in a better place. I am in the discord so I may pop in there sometime.

I think he's too aware of the gimmick and in on the joke right now, like calling his promo "TV Time" and going "I can never get enough TV time, huh? Right, guys?". That, to me, is someone who's in on the joke and it's not as funny, it's kinda reverse pandering. Now if Jericho just called his promo "Under the Learning Tree" or something and rambled about his accomplishments and knowledge, then said that too many young guys weren't getting TV time, oblivious to the fact that his mugging is what's keeping said young guys off TV, that's funny. Jericho winking at the audience about getting his TV time while Taz says "That's a shoot", not that funny. It's a fine line because once Jericho becomes too funny or entertaining, the gimmick teeters over; but you also don't want it being too over-the-top and turning people off. It can be a really funny, effective gimmick: old-timey vet complaining about young guys while seeing to teach them, but I don't think it's there, yet. He should probably lean into it more with headlocks and the like ("A good front facelock is the end of almost every real fight" is something I believe he talked about in his book re: his fight with Godlberg) during his match, and telling his charges at ringside: "Watch this." but you also run the risk of straight-up ruining matches for the sake of the gimmick.

They did more than criticize. They made light of a situation where Mecedes/Naomi were spoken to by a producer using racially charged/coded language etc.. and called them crybabies and completely overlooked that fact. That's something that I will NEVER forget.... Never.

The TWID revealed artifact mods for TFS/Echoes. We got anti-barrier Pulse Rifles/SMGs, Unstoppable Scout Rifles/sidearms, Overload HCs/swords. They mentioned sniper rifles being part of it, but they didn't show up at all in the mods shown. That likely means they will be a things in late July when the next set of mods open up as the artifact mods are supposed to be getting more additions with each chapter in an Episode. The elemental focus is on Light Subclasses though Stasis & Strand have one perk as well. The Stasis perk actually sounds good. The Light class perks look good. At least 2-3 sword perks in combination of element perks make me think swords will actually be solid-good this season. Probably will at least break out my Black Talon.

No I just find some comments funny like someone trying to say Skye was out there carrying Mercedes.... like... let's be real here lol. The nitpicking is mostly about the character work. Do I think all her promo segments have hit? No. But a promo like last night, it was fine. I'd rather her heel it up 100% and I think they've been teasing that but for right now... the Cena reactions are more than fine. 50/50 split is a good thing. It's bad when nobody is reacting and that hasn't happened. Her match with Willow was one of the hottest matches on the PPV.

Intense week so far! After eating well over the weekend, got a ridiculous pump (all things considered) on Sunday's upper body massacre. Did 3 sets of incline dumbell bench with the 88's with the bench two notches down and hammer curls afterwards. 3 sets of 8 of Scott bench bicep curls with 57, 61,5 and 66. Then lighter double bicep curls standing up and on the incline bench. Also a bunch of lat pull downs with the resistance bands and in the end a ridiculous push down drop sets with a resistance band. My left arm was 44cm afterwards and that's crazy at this weight. Even the right one was 43,5cm. Monday I did a bunch of light shrugs, a bunch of dumbell chest flies lying on the floor and all kinds of weird holds with resistance bands to get my chest pumped without putting too much strain on the parts that got massacred on Sunday. Tuesday was a light leg day with a ton of calf raises and some five sets of light squats, but with a bunch of partials at the bottom. Wednesday was a light bench pyramid and a light to moderate seal row pyramid. Thursday was another go at a volume Trapbar with 10 or 11 sets from 554 to 598 (sets around 4-6 reps). My lower lats are still fucked from last week but I got through it. I have gone out for a walk/jog and stairs from Monday to Wednesday and am starting to look ripped as all fuck, and reaching my midway target of under 176 a couple of days early (saw 174 after a jog). Looking forward to weekend re-feed at this point, however!
