I've never heard it used for anything else, or tried to be reclaimed, or as a term of endearment amongst friends. It is only used as a slur. Yeah, there's no context other than slur for that word. The terms you most often think of as slurs for whites, blacks, gays, etc, ALL are sometimes used in a goofy or friendly way. Not that one though.
Dolfan in NYC Posted March 15, 2021 Author Posted March 15, 2021 For what it's worth, it appears we'll know the findings into the Meyers Leonard investigation sometime around 2027. Oh, also, a high school announcer used the n-word on the air when a group of girls knelt during the national anthem last week. He blamed it being a diabetic. That went over about as well as you'd expect.

To be fair, as the statement says, the allegation was made 3 weeks ago so the investigation was actually really quick.

Rapaport apparently just didn't appreciate something Durant said though they say similar stuff to each other frequently. Durant apologized. 1

Brian Fowler Posted April 6, 2021 Posted April 6, 2021 I didn't expect them to can him. Suspend and fine, yes, but not termination. Oh well.
elizium Posted April 6, 2021 Posted April 6, 2021 I assume he's a pain in the ass to work with and this was the excuse they were looking for

supremebve Posted April 9, 2021 Posted April 9, 2021 Paul Pierce made almost $250 million in the NBA... and only had two strippers. If you're going to get fired, you have to have at least five. 4

Two is a perfectly reasonable number of strippers to have at your home, especially in a pandemic! 1
Brian Fowler Posted April 9, 2021 Posted April 9, 2021 That is two more strippers than I have ever had in my home 1

Tabe Posted June 28, 2021 Posted June 28, 2021 TIL I learned former Pistons guard is worth $400m as the owner of a billion dollar auto parts company. He's also involved in a lawsuit because his company lost designation as a "minority" company, which could cost them billions. https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/companies/nba-star-risks-billions-for-failing-to-diversify-executive-ranks/ar-AALwTnM?li=BBnb7Kz
