Raziel Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 DeSean explains his recent social media message On Monday, Washington receiver DeSean Jackson posted the following message on social media: “You can’t do epic sh-t with basic people.” He has explained it by saying, essentially, “if the sh-t fits . . . .” “Whoever feels like it’s directed at him, that’s who it’s directed at,” Jackson said Thursday, via Rich Tandler of CSNWashington.com. Jackson opted not to elaborate. Yup, going to be a long rest of the season... Now you see why we weren't complaining when Chip cut him. 1
BobbyWhioux Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 The punter just made a better tackle than any of the linebackers have this half
Death From Above Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 So, is this game pretty much the Raiders summarized? Some really good moments, but...
BobbyWhioux Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 So, is this game pretty much the Raiders summarized? Some really good moments, but... 35 minutes before the defense disappears is a bit longer than usual but otherwise fairly standard fare, yes.
BobbyWhioux Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Marcel Reece is getting the ball because he's the only running back good enough to maybe score but slow enough to take all 9 minutes to do it.
BobbyWhioux Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Shouldn't look a late go-ahead TD in the mouth but [don't laugh] I think they left too much time on the clock for Alex Smith. 1
pipGofern Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 I know it's fun to make jokes about the Raiders and such but if Carr's reaction after that TD doesn't make you smile a little then I guess you've never been a fan of a chronically losing team 1
RonL21 Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 3 penalties on a 4th and 3 is such a Raider thing to do.
Death From Above Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 If Tuck doesn't take that time out, that would have been the most Raiders penalty of all time. This is great.
BobbyWhioux Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 If Tuck doesn't take that time out, that would have been the most Raiders penalty of all time. This is great. Now perhaps the degree of severity is Peak Raider but that was merely the logical extension/conclusion of the stupidity of the modern player's compulsion to showboat regardless of game situation.
BobbyWhioux Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Defensive player's equivalent of "must start high stepping at the 15 so I can get stripped of the ball"?
Death From Above Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 That was a really fun game between two not very good football teams and Jamaal Charles. Shout out to the Oakland monsoon.
BobbyWhioux Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Jacksonville is BACK IN THE MIX for the #1 PICK, baby
Travis Sheldon Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 And Carr gets at least 4 god references in on the postgame interview with that Wolfson (sic?) lady. Wasn't the prayer circle (jerk) enough? Probably the most non-Raider thing to do, but I'll give him a pass this time. 1

Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John didn't namecheck Jesus as much as Derek Carr just did.
Burgundy LaRue Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Dude finally won a game. You'd thank God for the Chiefs too,if that was you. 1
BobbyWhioux Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Of course, the upside here is: if Carr is going to invoke the name of The Lord this much after a game, a Tim Tebow comeback is now completely unnecessary

Yeah, he guy is justifying why Chip cut him every time he opens his mouth. So, is this game pretty much the Raiders summarized? Some really good moments, but... More like Andy's coaching style summarized. Lose a game that you have no right losing.
Vincey Greene Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Eh, losing is probably more helpful for Carolina at this point than winning. Can't keep pretending last season was a sustainable thing; time to build an actual future.
Gonzo Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 At least I know now what it takes to get a Bills game on a Monday night. Not sure how much coverage you can expect. When they did this with Vikings/Giants in Detroit a few years ago, it was only on local FOX affiliates. Although it was available via the NFL's Sunday Ticket package on DirecTV. Not sure if CBS will treat it any differently or not.
odessasteps Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 From what Peter King wrote last night, just on CBS affiliates that would normally broadcast the game, which i think was the two home markets and some in upstate ny.
