FireThunder Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 And the Giants have already told NBC that Cruz tore his patella tendon. Ugh.
jaedmc Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 381 Yards! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Cutty does it bitches.
Tabe Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 1 for 3. 5 for 15. Seriously, fuck kickers. ESPN: Arizona kicker Casey Skowronmisses 3 FGs in 2-point loss to USC ESPN: Lions GM Martin Mayhew: Skowron "now #1 on our draft board" 2
RIPPA Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 My (hopefully not flu ridden) body decided at 9 pm that I was going to sleep NOW so I thankfully missed almost all of the nonsense.
RIPPA Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 I am not going back through the whole thread to see if it was posted Joique Bell cut a promo. He might have called Brodus Clay's Mamma
RIPPA Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Ooof The Deadspin article regarding the Cruz injury isn't making me feel any better http://deadspin.com/victor-cruzs-injury-made-everyone-sad-1645649540
Gonzo Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Mike Goldberg apparently doesn't like being told that he was awful on Sunday, even though he was awful on Sunday.
Hail Sabin Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Mike Goldberg apparently doesn't like being told that he was awful on Sunday, even though he was awful on Sunday. I watched my recording of Redzone's 1st 4 hours last night and just from hearing when they did live cut ins He sounded completely awful I could only imagined how bad it was for 3 hours.
Tabe Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Repeat offender Vontaze Burfict is being called out by the Carolina Panthers for twisting the ankles of Gregg Olsen and Cam Newton after making tackles. He also got a flag for a cheap shot on a defenseless receiver. Given his repeat offender status and the fact he did it multiple times during the, I'm hoping the NFL suspends Burfict. My realistic side says they'll fine him less than if he was wearing Beats headphones. Link to video of the Newton tackle
Vincey Greene Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Somebody on the Panthers should have knocked his fucking head off for that. If Smith was still a Panther, I'd assume he'd have handled that. 2
Pete Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 I expect the Post to pull shit like this, not the News. Ugh.
hammerva Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Also if you are using Mike Missennali as your Philly sports guy of choice then you are really scraping the bottom of the barrel. I mean WIP won't even touch the guy he is such a douche 1
E.J. Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Yo, Austin Davis is pretty much Drew Brees now, guys.
Niners Fan in CT Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Yo, Austin Davis is pretty much Drew Brees now, guys. So you're saying I needed the Rams to come into Levis this week..
The Man Known as Dan Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Austin Davis actually seems like a pretty damn solid QB, though usually you can say the first 6 games usually end up as an aberration. But for a nun drafted free agent that spent 2 years on Practice Squad, I don't know what else you could want out of him. He's kept the Rams not awful.
Burgundy LaRue Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Yo, Austin Davis is pretty much Drew Brees now, guys. With more personality, though.
pipGofern Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Davis does seem solid but this has to be Derek Anderson Syndrome. The Rams already tripped on a banana peel and landed on Kurt Warner - the chances of them stumbling over two undrafted championship level QBs has to be astronomical. Oh and the refs really really suck. As I like to say every year, bring back the Arenaball refs.
hammerva Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Compared to Sam Bradford, he is Drew Brees and Dan Marino combined Yeah that is the Rams defense that people are used to
ebbie Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 I hope the Rams win. Me and my daddy issues have a thing for Jeff Fisher. Also Harbaugh can get kicked in the cock for all I care. He is as terrible as his brother.
Niners Fan in CT Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 Still a lot of time left but finally this offense is starting to come together. Kaep has made some really nice throws these last two quarters. Lloyd, Boldin, Stevie Johnson and Crab have all made plays.
The Man Known as Dan Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 A defense that was really solid last year got significantly worse when they shot Gregg Williams as there DC. He's been a terrible hire.
Cole Miner Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 I expect the Post to pull shit like this, not the News. Ugh. Yeah if they want to lead with a photo taken completely out of context at least use a photo where the ball is on the ground. At least then it would be conceivable that they were cheering the injury rather than the pass being incomplete. There was a story after the game about someone getting their prosthetic leg stolen at the game. So if they wanted to take shots at people here in Philly the material was there to use.
