Kuetsar Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 The Bills suck again, but at least the division stinks, too.
E.J. Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Ayo Kap, you might want to throw the ball away every now and then instead of losing yards.
dogwelder Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 I'd say the current suckiness standings are something like: 1. Oakland 2. Jax 3. Washington
FireThunder Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 The Chargers are on their way to making the Jags look like a million bucks, though. Ugh.
Raziel Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Yeah, so far, I'm really regretting playing the matchup with the Chargers D against Jax instead of taking Miami agianst Oakland.
Cole Miner Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Ayo Kap, you might want to throw the ball away every now and then instead of losing yards. He does a lot that reminds me of McNabb. Both the positive and negative.
Raziel Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Our defense fucking sucks. I'm wondering how long the Eagles can try this "play like shit in the first half, come back and win in the second" run.
evilwaldo Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 This dapper gentleman right here Eagles fans. 1
Niners Fan in CT Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Terrible decision. I might have to change my avatar back to #80 soon.
FireThunder Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Did I mention Eddie Royal? Cuz EDDIE ROYAL!
Cole Miner Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Don't know what the hell New Orleans was thinking trading Sproles. 1
Niners Fan in CT Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 49ers are maybe a notch above Jax or Oakland but I'm starting to think they may be equal.
Raziel Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Much as I love winning and the Special Teams and Defense are being awesome... My fantasy team would love it of Foles could complete a few passes, maybe score a TD on offense.... 1
dogwelder Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 49ers are maybe a notch above Jax or Oakland but I'm starting to think they may be equal. I think the 49ers could easily beat the Skins.
Death From Above Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Don't know what the hell New Orleans was thinking trading Sproles. And they traded him for the always key fifth round pick, at that.
dogwelder Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 (edited) Didn't they have to trade Sproles for financial reasons because they were worried that they'd lose the arbitration case for Graham? I seem to remember reading something recently about that. Ah, found it. From http://grantland.com/the-triangle/darren-sproles-philadelphia-eagles-value: By the end of 2013, the Saints had to make a bet on Sproles’s future. Already over the cap heading into the offseason, New Orleans had to clear out space out of concern that an arbitrator might rule Jimmy Graham was a wide receiver, which would cost them an additional $5 million under the franchise tag. Also, the Saints wanted to use any other space they had to target star safety Jairus Byrd, who eventually signed with the team. With a cap hit of $3.5 million and the Saints unlikely to re-sign Sproles after the 2014 season, they decided to cut bait while they could. Other teams saw a player who might be past his prime and weren’t willing to take the risk by giving up more than a fifth-rounder. Edited September 28, 2014 by dogwelder
jaedmc Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Are you telling me I should have started Matt Asiata over LeSean McCoy?
evilwaldo Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Don't know what the hell New Orleans was thinking trading Sproles. Age and stats. His rushing, punt, and kick return stats were in severe decline and Sproles is on the wrong side of 30.
Cole Miner Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Yeah that is a good bit of cap savings. Anyway a 5th beats the nothing the Eagles got for Jackson. Worked out well for the Eagles the Saints having cap problems. With Sproles and Jenkins.
FireThunder Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Brandon Flowers picks off Bortles for his first interception in a SD uni.
FireThunder Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 And the Chargers settle for a field goal after Rivers drops a snap. Le sigh.
Raziel Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Is there a competent ref crew active in the NFL right now?
Raziel Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 EDIT: Double Post Hey fucktards, would it kill you lot to not look totally incompetent on fucking offense today? Foles getting this banged up does not leave much hope that we won't see Sanchez at some point this season.
evilwaldo Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 It must be a Stanford thing. Stanford coaches are Kelly's kryptonite. I am amazed that they are in the game with an offensive line that is down to third string guys.
